Lyon backstopped the Sabres on Wednesday for their first victory of the season in a high-scoring 8-4 win over the Ottawa Senators, where he saved 32 of 36 shots (.889 SV%). Despite an unfavorable 1-3-0 record, the 32-year-old Lyon has been a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing start to the 2025-26 season for the Sabres, showcasing a 3.05 GAA and .911 SV%. The Sabres enter Saturday's contest as +125 home underdogs against the Panthers.

Ullmark allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Senators' 4-3 shootout win over the Kraken on Thursday. The win snapped a two-game losing stream for Ullmark, who is now 2-2-0 with a 3.72 GAA and .862 SV% through four games. Ullmark should make for a good start, as -140 home favourites vs. the Islanders.

With Kirby Dach unavailable due to a lower-body injury, Beck will play in his 14th career game and first of the season. Beck has 16 goals and 30 assists (46 points) in 67 AHL games over the last two seasons. He'll start on a line with Zack Bolduc and Joe Veleno.

Vladar allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Flyers win over the Panthers on Monday. Vladar has been great in his first two starts of the season, posting a 1-1-0 record, 2.02 GAA and .933 SV%. Tonight he'll face a Wild team on the tail-end of a back-to-back. The Flyers come in as -111 home favourites.

Jiricek had one assist in his season debut in Iowa, and returns to the NHL following an injury to Zach Bogosian on Friday. Jiricek could draw into the lineup on Saturday.

Bogosian left after playing 12:08 and did not return. The Wild recalled David Jiricek from Iowa (AHL), suggesting that Bogosian will not be available on Saturday.
