Dellandrea has battled some injuries this season and has been sidelined since early January due to a lower-body injury, but he has been an effective bottom-six forward when healthy, earning himself a two-year contract extension. The 25-year-old Dellandrea is averaging 14:24 time-on-ice, recording 11 points (2G / 9A) and 117 hits in 42 games this season.

With Yarsolav Askarov (lower body) battling an injury, the Sharks have recalled Brossoit from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL). The severity of Askarov's injury is unclear, but Brossoit will likely serve primarily as Alex Nedeljkovic's backup while he is with the Sharks.

Eklund was absence from practice on Wednesday and his status for Thursday's game against the Boston Bruins was up in the air. The 23-year-old Swedish forward has 38 points (11G / 27A) in 58 games this season, but has been held off the scoresheet in three straight.
