Smith has two goals, nine assists, 47 SOG, 43 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 42 games this season and has earned himself a one-year, $775,000 contract extension Monday. This is great news for the 27-year-old who has 51 career NHL games under his belt.

Horvat was dealt to the Islanders last week for Anthony Beauvillier, Aatu Raty and a top-12 protected 2023 first-round pick and has signed an eight-year, $68 Million ($8.5 Million AAV) with the Islanders Sunday. The 27-year-old is on pace for the best season of his career with his 31 goals, 23 assists, 143 SOG and 12 PIMs through 49 games with Vancouver prior to his trade. He has never surpassed 61 points in any of his previous eight NHL seasons.

Milano was signed off a PTO in the offseason and has made the most of his time with the Capitals, putting up eight goals, 14 assists, 55 SOG, and 10 PIMs through 40 games this season. The 26-year-old has earned himself a three-year, $5.7 million extension ($1.9M AAV) with Washington.

Strome has been enjoying a solid first season in Washington, with 11 goals, 25 assists, 90 SOG, and 16 PIMs through 52 games and has signed a 5-year, $25-million extension with the Washington Capitals Friday.

Zacha is on pace for the strongest offensive output of his eight-year career with five goals, 20 assists, 64 SOG and a +10 plus/minus through 42 games in his first season in Boston and has signed a four-year, $4.75 million extension Saturday.

Boldy was selected No.12 overall in 2019 and has picked up 68 points (27G / 41A) in his first 89 career NHL games with the Wild. Boldy was set to become an RFA at the end of the season but is now signed through the 2029-30 season.


Vesey had signed a one-year contract after a successful PTO to start 2022-23 but has now signed a two-year, $800,000 AAV extension with the Rangers. The 29-year-old earned the extension after putting up six goals, six assists, 62 SOG and a +4 plus/minus through 38 games this season.

The St. Louis Blues have locked up Joel Hofer to a two-year, $775,000 extension Monday. The 22-year-old has been exceptional with Springfield (AHL), with a 10-8-7 record, a .922 SV% and 2.39 GAA.

Perbix has fit into the Lightning's lineup admirably in his rookie season earning himself a two-year contract extension worth an AAV of $1.125 million. The 24-year-old has three goals, five assists, 47 SOG and a +8 plus/minus through 29 games so far in 2022-23.


Zub has two goals, two assists, 10 PIMs, and 15 SOG while averaging 22:01 ATOI across 14 games played and will now be signed in the Nation's capital for four more years, at an average of $4.6 million per year. The 27-year-old has 11 goals, 29 assists, 96 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus across 142 career games played in three NHL seasons.
