Bogosian (lower-body) will return to Minnesota's lineup vs. Nashville on Tuesday.

Bogosian has not played in over a week due to a lower-body injury, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators. The 35-year-old veteran defenseman is averaging 14:59 time-on-ice and has two points (1G / 1A) in 17 games this season. David Jiricek will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Bogosian's return.

Zach Bogosian
Gustavsson will start vs. Nashville on Tuesday.

Minnesota's two-headed goalie rotation of Jesper Wallstedt and Filip Gustavsson has dominated the NHL over the past several weeks and will turn to Gustavsson in their final game before the Holiday Break. The 27-year-old Gustavsson has been near-perfect lately, posting a stellar 1.40 GAA and .945 SV% in his last five games (5-0-0). He owns a 2.47 GAA and .913 SV% in 23 games this season (12-8-3). Minnesota enters the action on Tuesday as a -171 home favorite against a Nashville Predators team playing its best hockey of the season, having won seven of its last 10 games (7-3-0).

Filip Gustavsson
Rosen is expected to be a healthy scratch vs. Ottawa on Tuesday.

Jordan Greenway will return to Buffalo's lineup on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators, resulting in Rosen being a healthy scratch. The 22-year-old Rosen has seven points (3G / 4A) in 13 games this season, but only has one assist in his last five games.

Isak Rosen
Perreault (illness) is expected to return in Washington on Tuesday.

Perreault did not play in New York's most recent game due to an illness, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals. The 20-year-old Perreault has played only five games this season with the Rangers but has been productive, scoring three points (1G/2A) as he tries to acclimate to the NHL.

Gabriel Perreault
Rempe (illness) is expected to return in Washington on Tuesday.

Rempe did not play in New York's most recent game due to an illness, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals. The 23-year-old Rempe has one goal and seven penalty minutes in 13 games this season. Conor Sheary will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Rempe's return.

Matt Rempe
Blackwell will be a healthy scratch in Detroit on Tuesday.

Adam Erne will draw back into the Stars' lineup on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings, resulting in Blackwell being a healthy scratch. The 32-year-old Blackwell is averaging 11:43 time-on-ice and has seven points (2G / 5A) in 35 games this season.

Colin Blackwell
Lyon is in the starter's crease at Buffalo's morning skate.

The Sabres are rolling heading into the Holiday Break, largely due to stellar play from Alex Lyon, and hope to enter the Holiday Break on a seven-game winning streak. The 33-year-old Lyon has an excellent 2.00 GAA and .932 SV% in his last four games. He has a 2.92 GAA and .906 SV% through 19 games this season (8-6-3). The Sabres enter Tuesday's contest as +138 road underdogs against a Senators team that is also rolling, outscoring its opponents 19-8 in its last four games (4-0-0).

Alex Lyon
Markstrom is in the starter's crease at New Jersey's morning skate.

The Devils are 4-6-0 in their last 10 games and hope to enter the Holiday Break with a victory, turning to Markstrom to tend the twine against the New York Islanders. The 35-year-old Markstrom has been wildly inconsistent this season, posting an ugly 3.40 GAA and .881 SV% in 18 games (9-7-1). That said, the veteran goalie is coming off one of his better outings, saving 32 of 33 shots (.970 SV%) in a 2-1 win over the Utah Mammoth. New Jersey enters Tuesday's contest as -128 road favorites against a New York team on a three-game losing skid (0-2-1).

Jacob Markstrom
Erne will draw back into Dallas' lineup on Tuesday in Detroit.

Colin Blackwell will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings, allowing Erne to re-enter the lineup against his former team. The 30-year-old Erne has been effective in a fourth-line role for the Stars this season, scoring four points (3G / 1A) in 15 games.

Adam Erne
DeSmith will start in Detroit on Tuesday.

DeSmith has deservedly seen an increase in playing time lately and will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings for his sixth start in the Stars' last 13 games. The 34-year-old DeSmith has been outstanding for Dallas this season, posting a 2.20 GAA and .920 SV% in 13 games (9-1-3). He is coming off just his second sub- .900 SV% outing, but still recorded a victory, saving 22 of 25 shots (.880 SV%) in an 8-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The Stars enter Tuesday's contest as -124 road favorites against a Red Wings team that has won four of their last five (4-1-0).

Casey DeSmith
Knight will start vs. Philadelphia on Tuesday.

The Blackhawks' struggles continue amid a five-game losing skid with Connor Bedard (upper body) out of the lineup, turning to Knight to hopefully lead them to a victory on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 24-year-old Knight was solid in his most recent outing, saving 31 of 34 shots (.912 SV%), but received no goal support, a recurring problem for the Blackhawks, in a 4-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. Knight has a 2.57 GAA and .914 SV% in 24 games this season (10-9-5).

Spencer Knight
Danault will make his Canadiens' debut in Boston on Tuesday.

Danault had an extremely quiet season offensively, going goalless with just five assists in 30 games this season with the Kings. Danault, who is signed through 2026-27 with a cap-hit of $5.5M, reportedly expressed a desire to be traded and the Kings facilitated a deal in exchange for a 2026 2nd Round Pick. Danault returns to Montreal, where he played from 2016 to 2021.

Phillip Danault
Swayman will start vs. Montreal on Tuesday.

Despite rebounding from a poor 2024-25 season, Swayman currently finds himself in a bit of a cold stretch. The 27-year-old American goalie has seen the Bruins lose in four of his last five appearances (1-3-1) while posting a subpar 3.05 GAA and .864 SV%. He has a 2.78 GAA and .906 SV% in 25 games this season (14-9-1). The Bruins enter Tuesday's contest as -123 home favorites against a Montreal Canadiens team with points in three straight games (2-0-1).

Jeremy Swayman
Ullmark will start vs. Buffalo on Tuesday.

Ullmark has had a shaky 2025-26 season, posting a 2.85 GAA and .884 SV% in 26 games. That said, the 32-year-old goalie is amid his best stretch of the season, winning four straight while posting an impressive 1.85 GAA and .928 SV%. The Senators enter the action on Wednesday as -152 home favorites against a surging Buffalo Sabres team that is on a season-best six-game winning streak.

Linus Ullmark
Wilson (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision vs. NYR on Tuesday.

Wilson is battling an undisclosed ailment and could be at risk of missing his first game. The 31-year-old Wilson is having an outstanding season, pacing for career bests in nearly all offensive categories, tallying 34 points (17G / 17A), 97 hits, and 84 shots in 36 games.

Tom Wilson
Arvidsson (lower-body) will be a game-time decision vs. Montreal on Tuesday.

Arvidsson has not played in nearly two weeks, but will be a game-time decision to return to the lineup in Boston's final game before the Holiday Break. The 32-year-old Arvidsson is averaging 14:15 time-on-ice and has 14 points (7G / 7A) in 25 games this season. Michael Eyssimont will be the odd man out of the lineup as a healthy scratch.
