Hart has missed the last seven games with a lower-body injury but will be available to backup Brian Elliott on Monday. Head coach Scott Gordon said that Hart will start one of their back-to-back games on Thursday/Friday. The rookie netminder was pulled in each of his last two starts, while allowing a combined six goals on 18 shots (.667 SV%).

Hutton suffered an apparent foot injury late in Sunday’s loss in Vegas. Since the start of February, Hutton ranks third in the NHL in TOI/GP (26:42) trailing just Drew Doughty and Ryan Suter, so this is a huge loss for the Canucks blueline. Vancouver recalled Guillaume Brisebois from Utica (AHL) to replace Hutton on Tuesday.

Hart has been skating and is “doing ver well,” according to GM Chuck Fletcher. If everything goes well with him on Tuesday, Hart will join the team on the ice for Wednesday’s morning skate.

Stone was acquired from the Senators and signed an eight-year extension with the Golden Knights right away. Stone, who is one of the league’s best wingers, will make his debut on a line with Max Pacioretty and Paul Stastny.

Stone was a pending free-agent and the Golden Knights likely wouldn’t have part with their top prospect Erik Brannstrom if they weren’t re-signing Stone. Stone is projected to start on the Golden Knights’ top-line with William Karlsson and Jonathan Marchessault, where he should take his game to the next level.

Stone became the face of the Senators franchise after they traded away Erik Karlsson but it became clear that they were unlikely to reach an extension, which is why he was ultimately dealt at the deadline. Stone has already set a career-high in goals (28), marking the fifth straight season he has recorded 20-plus goals and 30-plus assists. Stone is also a reliable defensive player and is one of the league’s great pickpockets. He projects to skate in the Vegas top-6 and could even start on the top-line with William Karlsson and Jonathan Marchessault.

Brian Elliott was already the confirmed starter for Saturday’s Stadium Series game and now the Flyers have announced that Hart is dealing with a lower-body issue and will miss at least 10 days. Hart has struggled mightily in his last two outings, getting pulled after allowing three goals on nine shots in both starts. Cam Talbot, who the Flyers recently acquired from the Oilers, will backup Elliott on Saturday.
