The young netminder is still searching for his first win on home ice this season but will be in tough tonight with the Predators in town.

After some really rough starts, Brossoit played great over the weekend, stopping 44 of the 47 shots (.936 SV%) that he faced to go 1-1-0. Tonight he will be in tough in Columbus—the Blue Jackets are 6-1-0 in their last seven games on home ice.

He has struggled mightily all season-long and will be in tough tonight as he goes head-to-head with Carey Price in Montreal.

Brossoit surrendered five goals (one from his own team) on 35 shots in the Oilers 6-4 loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday. With Cam Talbot sidelined, the Oilers will need more out of Brossoit if they’re going to stay afloat in the Western Conference over the next few weeks. Brossoit is 0-2-1 with a 2.53 GAA and .914 SV% on the road this season but does have a win in the Scotiabank Saddledome in his young career.
