Batherson was held without a point and shot while posting a minus-4 rating in the first two games of the 2019-20 season. He heads to Belleville, where he led the team with 62 points (22G / 40A) in 59 games last season.
Chabot is coming off of a fantastic sophomore campaign, scoring 14 goals with 41 assists (55 points) in 70 games. The Senators have a young, up-and-coming team and Chabot could lead the team in points in 2020. The 22-year-old has just one career power-play goal, something that will change this season and allow him to approach last year’s totals.
Suzuki was selected with the No.28 overall pick in this summer’s draft after scoring 25 goals with 50 assists (75 points) in 65 games with the Barrie Colts (OHL).
Ullmark appeared in 37 games during his first full year with the Sabres, going 15-14-5 with a 3.11 GAA and .905 SV%. Ullmark will likely play a similar number of games in 2020 as he heads into the season as Carter Hutton’s backup.
Burakovsky was picked No.23 overall back in 2013 but has yet to top 40 points in five NHL seasons. In his defence, Burakovsky has never played more than 13:50 TOI/gm, so the Avalanche will see what he can do for them in a larger role. The 24-year-old has tremendous speed, a great shot but had just 12 goals and 13 assists (25 points) in 76 games a season ago.
Zetterlund, 19, was a third-round pick (No.63 overall) of the Devils in 2017 and had four points (2G / 2A) in 16 games with Farjestads BK Karlstad of the Swedish Elite League this season. Zetterlund has represented Sweden twice at the World Juniors, where he had two goals in 12 games overall.
Alsing, 23, was an undrafted free agent, who had four goals and 11 assists (15 points) in 49 games with Djurgardens IF of the Swedish Elite League.
