Formenton is now one of eight players on the COVID-19 reserve list for the Senators. With Formenton out, look for Scott Sabourin to draw into the Senators lineup.


Cousins is week-to-week with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Sunday vs. the Blackhawks. He was moved to IR to open up a roster spot to recall Mathieu Olivier.






MacDermid has been in the lineup for the last two games, playing just 7:29 ATOI and going minus-1 with one shot. He'll be replaced by Samuel Girard, who is returning from an upper-body injury.





Pinto will miss the remaining two games on the Senators' current homestand and then is not expected to travel with the team on their upcoming three-game road trip. With Pinto out, Nick Paul is expected to shift to centre on the Senators' second line.


Pinto was hurt early in Thursday's game vs. the Sharks and will not play on Saturday. The Senators are hopeful that Pinto will not be out long-term but they are expected to release a more detailed timetable after he's re-evaluated tomorrow.

Tkachuk sat out the first few games of the season after signing on Senators' opening night. Tonight he will replace Parker Kelly in the lineup and return to the top line with Josh Norris and Drake Batherson.
