Thomas Chabot will not return to the Senators' lineup Wednesday as originally expected (concussion).

Chabot has been out since Nov.12th with a concussion and will not return Wednesday as originally planned. Chabot has averaged 25:45 TOI this season so his return will be highly welcomed. Through 14 games played this season he has three goals and three assists along with 34 SOG.

Lassi Thomson will make his season debut Wednesday vs. Vegas.

The 2019 1st round pick (19th overall) was recalled for the first time this season after putting up three goals and seven assists along with eight PIMs through 15 games with Belleville (AHL). In 16 career NHL games prior the season, he has five assists through 16 GP.

James Reimer is day-to-day and will not travel to Seattle with a lower-body injury.

Reimer did not play in the Sharks' game Monday as he yielded the net to Kappo Kahkonen. It was announced Tuesday that he is suffering from a lower-body injury and will not travel with the team to Seattle. The 34-year-old netminder is considered day-to-day after a tough start to the season which saw him post a 5-7-2 record with a 2.92 GAA and .906 SV%.

Chabot has not played since Nov.12th due to a concussion but is close to returning for the Senators. With that said, he will not play Monday as Ottawa takes on San Jose. The 25-year-old star defenseman has three goals and three assists through his first 14 games prior to the injury while averaging 25:45 TOI.

Ullmark will start Monday in Tampa.

Ullmark stopped 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%) in a victory over Philadelphia his last time out as he collected his fourth straight win. Ullmark leads all goaltenders with his 12-1-0 record helped by his .937 SV% and 1.89 GAA. He takes on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who find themselves on a four-game winning streak after their 4-1 victory over Calgary in their previous game.

Ullmark leads all goaltenders with his 12-1-0 record helped by his .937 SV% and 1.89 GAA. He takes on the Tampa Bay Lightning who find themselves on a four-game winning streak after their 4-1 victory over Calgary in their previous game.

Pinto (undisclosed) is questionable to play Monday in San Jose.

Pinto picked up an injury on Saturday, missed Sunday's practice and is questionable to play Monday. The Senators are optimistic he will play, but expect Dylan Gambrell to replace him on the third line if he can't play.

Reimer was the first goalie off of the ice at the Sharks morning skate.

Reimer stopped 23 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) as he won his third straight starting a row in a victory over Vegas his last time out. The 34-year-old veteran has been solid as expected this season, posting a 5-5-2 record with a 2.81 GAA and .909 SV%. He faces off against the Detroit Red Wings who are in the middle of a four-game losing streak.

Ullmark will start Thursday vs. the Flyers.

With Jeremy Swayman returning from injury Wednesday, Jim Montgomery announced he was leaning toward Linus Ullmark on Thursday vs. Philadelphia. Ullmark stopped 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) from his third straight win as he continued his incredible start to the season, moving to 11-1-0 with a 1.96 GAA and .936 SV%. He takes on the Philadelphia Flyers, who have struggled offensively, averaging only 2.56 goals per game to rank 30th in the NHL.

Linus Ullmark will likely get the start Thursday as Boston takes on Philadelphia.

Reimer stopped 28 of 30 shots (.933 SV%) in his last start winning vs. the Minnesota Wild on the road. The 34-year-old has a 4-5-2 record with a shutout and a 2.88 GAA while posting a .908 SV%. He faces off against the Vegas Golden Knights who rank third in the NHL in goals per game (3.69) and lost their last time out to snap a nine-game winning streak.

Dennis Gilbert has been recalled from the Calgary Wranglers (AHL).

This will be Gilbert's second spell with the Flames after getting a short two-game showing earlier in the year where he picked up zero points and five PIMs. Through eight games with the Wranglers (AHL) he had yet to pick up a point but was a -2 plus/minus prior to his promotion.

Kurtis MacDermid will be out 4-6 weeks after suffering a lower-body injury.

MacDermid had to leave the Avalanche's game Saturday vs. Carolina after just two shifts and 1:13 TOI due to a lower-body injury and will now miss anywhere from 4-6 weeks it was announced Monday. The bruising defenseman had one assist and 14 PIMs through eight games so far this season prior to going down with the injury.
