Reimer left Thursday's game with an upper-body injury after a collision with Logan Couture. Post-game, head coach Bob Boughner said that he thinks Reimer "might be OK" but that they were still doing tests. It sounds like Reimer won't be available to start Saturday, so look for Kaapo Kahkonen to get the nod and the Sharks may need to recall a goalie to serve as his backup.

Batherson will miss his second straight game with a non-COVID illness but could return to the lineup on Sunday. The Senators called him "questionable" for Sunday's game vs. the Jets, they have to see how he recovers over the next few days.

Stützle skated once again on Friday and is "close" but will not travel to New York for Saturday's game. He is questionable to play Sunday when the Senators return to Ottawa to face the Jets.

Batherson was not on the ice for the morning skate and is doubtful to play Thursday due to a non-COVID illness. In addition to Batherson, Dylan Gambrell is also sick and Tim Stützle is questionable with a knee injury.

Stützle took a knee-on-knee hit in Tuesday's game in Montreal. He was on the ice for the morning skate but remains questionable to play Thursday. Monitor his status as the Senators hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 PM ET.

MacDermid is a rugged defenseman, who can also suit up at forward for the Avalanche in a pinch. He provides almost nothing offensively, posting just 22 points (8G / 14A) in 171 career NHL games, but brings toughness and flexibility to the Avalanche lineup.

Bourgault was a first-round pick (No.22 overall) in last year's draft and has scored 27 goals with 26 assists (53 points) in 33 games with Shawinigan (QMJHL).

Amadio missed three games while in COVID-19 protocol but is expected to play Saturday afternoon vs. the Blackhawks. Amadio will replace Nolan Patrick (undisclosed) in the lineup.
