Reimer will be in goal on Friday vs. Columbus.

Reimer allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs shootout loss to the Senators last Saturday. It wasn’t a great outing for the 27-year-old, who will make his second straight start tonight in Columbus. Both teams are searching for their first wins of the season.

James Reimer
Reiner starts Saturday vs. the Senators.

Reimer stopped 12 of 13 shots after replacing Jonathan Bernier in the Maple Leafs 4-0 loss to the Red Wings last night. Reimer will make his first start of the season against the Senators—he allowed three goals on 25 shots in a loss in his only start against Ottawa last season. A strong start tonight could carve out a larger early-season role for Reimer.

MacArthur (undisclosed) is on the ice for warmups.

MacAthur was listed as a game-time decision, but he is on the ice for warmups, so it appears as if he will play. MacArthur, who is expected to skate on the Senators third line with J.G Pageau and Milan Michalek, is coming off of a season where he had 36 points (16G / 20A) in 62 games last season.

Clarke MacArthur
MacArthur (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

MacArthur’s practicing has been sporadic this week, but he was on the ice for the morning skate and he is listed as a game-time decision. MacArthur said there is a 50/50 chance that he plays tonight. Monitor his status when the teams hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 pm ET.

Clarke MacArthur
MacArthur (undisclosed) is questionable for the Senators’ season opener.

MacArthur has missed the last two practices, including this morning’s, and head coach Dave Cameron said he “isn’t sure MacArthur will play tomorrow.” With MacArthur out, Mike Hoffman is playing on the top-line and Curtis Lazar has been bumping into the top six.

Reimer will start on Wednesday against Columbus.

Reimer stopped 49 of 50 shots in the Maple Leafs 2-1 shootout loss to the Bruins on Saturday. Wednesday will be Reimer’s final start of the season, so he will look to close it out on a high-note and record his 10th win of the season. He has gone 9-15-1 with a 3.06 GAA and .909 SV% this season.

James Reimer
Reimer will start in Boston.

Reimer made 40 saves on 41 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Lightning on Tuesday. Well, who saw that coming? Not me. He has won two in a row for the first time since December 10/14. Can he make in three in a row? We’ll see, but he is 3-13-0 with a 3.40 GAA and .897 SV% on the road this season, so the odds are stacked against the 27-year-old.

James Reimer
Reimer will be in goal on Tuesday.

Reimer gave up three goals on 25 shots in the Maple Leafs 4-3 win over the Senators on Saturday. Yep, I said win. Reimer has made seven starts and six relief appearances at the Air Canada Centre—he has complied a 5-2-0 record, 2.92 GAA and .912 SV% at home this season. Tonight he draws a rough matchup vs. a Lightning team who have five of their last seven.

James Reimer
