O’Reilly has been out for nearly one month due to a foot injury he suffered on February 19th. He was back on the Sabres’ top-line in practice this morning, which suggests he’ll return to the lineup vs. Montreal on Wednesday. The 25-year-old has 49 points (17G / 32A) in 59 games this season.

With Marc Staal sidelined for Tuesday’s game, Skjei was recalled and played 22:17 in the Rangers’ loss in New Jersey. His return to the AHL, suggests that Staal will be good-to-go on Thursday. Skye returns to Hartford, where he has 22 points (3G / 19A) in 52 games this season.

The Sabres announced that their leading scorer would miss 3-4 weeks, so moving him to IR was the obvious move. A three-week timetable means that O’Reilly will miss the next 10 games. With the Fantasy Hockey playoffs looming, his movement to IR will at least allow owners to stash him and look for an alternative option.

After playing just 8:45 TOI in Sunday’s win over the Panthers, Marchessault will come out of the lineup with Brian Boyle back in the lineup.

Haula has served as a healthy scratch for the last three games, but he will get back into the lineup, likely for Jarret Stoll on Tuesday. Haula has just two goals and two assists (four points) in 28 games this season.

Skjei, 21, was a first round pick (28th overall) in the 2012 NHL Draft. The 6-foot-3, 206 lbs. defenseman will make his NHL debut with veteran Dan Boyle as he D-partner. In his first full season with Hartford (AHL) he has collected 11 points (2G / 9A) in 27 games, which leads all Wolf Pack defensemen.

Saros allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Predators loss to the Sabres in his NHL debut on Saturday. With Carter Hutton back to 100 percent, the Predators have sent Saros back to the AHL.

Saros, 20, was the Predators fourth round pick (99th overall) in 2013. The 5-foot-11 netminder has gone 8-2-0 with a 2.40 GAA and .919 SV% 10 games into his first season with Milwaukee (AHL). Saros has spent the last two years in the SM-liiga, he was 13-18-16 with a 2.14 GAA and .929 SV% in 47 games with HPK Hameenlinna last year.

Haula missed Tuesday’s game in Pittsburgh but will play tonight in Boston. Haula leads all Wild forwards in penalty killing and plays just 00:19 per game on the power-play, so his fourth line, defensive role limits his fantasy value.
