Gibson will likely start Friday vs. the Canucks.

Gibson stopped all 21 shots that he faced in the Ducks win over the Flames on Wednesday. Gibson was pulled in favour of Frederik Andersen midway through the game, only to return after Andersen suffered a concussion. Gibson draws a strong matchup against a Canucks team that has lost nine of their last 10 games and come in on a back-to-back.

Hamonic will miss the rest of the regular season with a lower-body injury.

Hamonic suffered a lower-body injury after a knee-on-knee collision in Thursday’s win over the Blue Jackets. Hamonic will miss the rest of the regular season and will be re-evaluated before the playoffs start. Hamonic will be replaced by Marek Zidlicky in Saturday’s game.

Tonight will be his third start vs. the Coyotes and he comes in with a 1-1-0 record, 3.38 GAA and .889 SV% in the first two meetings.
