Hall (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

There’s no word on when Hall suffered the injury or how serious the lower-body ailment is, but it will keep him out of the lineup vs. Dallas. Hall has had a strong start to his Devils’ career, picking up 12 points (5G / 7A) in 14 games, so his absence will be huge for New Jersey.

The Senators signed Ryan Dzingel to a one-year, two-way contract.

Dzingel, 24, split the 2015-16 campaign between Ottawa and Binghamton (AHL). His 30 games with Ottawa were the first 30 games of his NHL career and he tallied three goals with six assists. In his time with the the “Baby Sens” he picked up 36 points (12G / 24A) in 44 contests. Dzingel figures to be in the Senators opening day roster.

The Devils have acquired Taylor Hall from the Oilers for Adam Larsson.

Hall spent the first six years of his NHL career in Edmonton after they selected him 1st overall in the 2010 NHL Draft. Hall is coming off of a 26-goal, 39-assist (65 points) season and has a career-high of 80 points (2013-14). The 24-year-old is one of the best young wingers in the NHL and should provide the Devils with a huge boost up front. He will be reunited with his former junior teammate Adam Henrique.

Ehlers (eye) will not play on Tuesday; expected to return on Thursday.

Ehlers will miss his 10th consecutive game tonight vs. the Canucks, but he is expected to play Thursday in Nashville. The Jets are currently without five of their full-time forwards, so Ehlers’ return will be welcomed with open arms. He has had a solid rookie season, recording 13 goals and 18 assists (31 points) in 63 games.

Fast (illness) will be a game-time decision on Monday.

Fast missed the Rangers’ morning skate and is listed as a game-time decision for Monday’s game vs. the Blue Jackets. Despite the addition of Eric Staal, it looks as if Fast will remain in the Rangers’ top-6 tonight if he is able to play. Monitor his status during the pre-game warmups.

Gostisbehere left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury and will not play on Saturday. Brandon Manning will get back into the lineup with Gostisbehere out. He is expected to be evaluated over the next 24 hours and a detailed injury report should be released on Saturday.
