Hall was a healthy scratch for Carolina's previous contest due to rest related purposes but will step back into the lineup on Monday vs. Philadelphia as another handful of Hurricane's players get the night off. The one-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner has done very well in a complimentary role with Carolina this season, picking up 18-goals, 48 points and 136 SOG in 79 games this season.

Hall was a late scratch for Thursday's matchup against his former team, with the Hurricanes not announcing his absence prior to warmups. Sebastian Aho is also sick. Ryan Suzuki will draw into the lineup, but the Canes will be forced to play with just 17 skaters on Thursday.

Katchouk will slide into the Blackhawks' lineup, his first game since November 16th, replacing Taylor Hall, who is dealing with an undisclosed injury. Hall has four points (2G / 2A) in 10 games this season, averaging 16:20 time-on-ice and played most recently on a line with Tyler Johnson and Taylor Raddysh.


Hall has missed the Blackhawks' previous two games due to a lower-body injury and will take warmups and be a game-time decision Saturday vs. Nashville. The 32-year-old is in his first season in Chicago after an offseason trade from Boston, and has two goals, two assists, 15 SOG, four PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through eight injury riddled games so far in 2023-24.
