Dostal will start in Edmonton on Friday.

Dostal will get the nod for the tail-end of Anaheim's back-to-back when they travel to Edmonton to take on the Oilers on Friday. Dostal was excellent in his last appearance, stopping 32 of the 34 shots he faced in a 3-2 victory over the Devils on New Year's Eve. The 24-year-old netminder owns a 10-10-3 record and an impressive .914 SV% on the season. He'll need to be at his best again on Friday against Connor McDavid and the Oilers, as the Ducks enter action at +375 on the money line.

Dostal will start against the Devils on Tuesday.

It appears John Gibson may still not be fully recovered from his illness, as the Ducks will turn to Dostal for a third consecutive game. Dostal secured the victory his last time out, allowing three goals on 23 shots in a 5-3 win over the Oilers on Sunday. The 24-year-old netminder brings a 9-10-3 record and a .913 SV% into Tuesday's clash with the Devils. He'll need to be at his best again tonight with the Ducks entering action at +230 on the money line.

Clang has been reassigned to San Diego (AHL).

Clang was recalled several days ago to serve as Lukas Dostal's backup due to John Gibson (illness) being out of the lineup. The 22-year-old Clang did not make it into the Ducks' crease and will return to the San Diego Gulls (AHL), where he has a 3.10 GAA and .896 SV% in 19 games (7-10-1).

The struggling Rangers are desperate for a spark and will scratch Kreider on Monday against the New Jersey Devils. The 33-year-old Kreider scored 206 points (127G / 79A) in 242 games over the previous three seasons but only has 12 points (11G / 1A) in 30 games this season, pacing for the lowest offensive output of his career. Jonny Brodzinski will draw into the lineup on Monday as Kreider's replacement.

Husso has been assigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Husso has been assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL), an indication that Cam Talbot (lower body) is likely ready to return to the lineup for the Red Wings. In eight games with the Red Wings things season (1-4-2), Husso struggled with a 3.47 GAA and .877 SV%.

The Ducks snapped a five-game losing skid in their previous outing, a 4-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets with John Gibson in net, but they will turn to Dostal between the pipes on Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 24-year-old Dostal has given the Ducks a chance to win on most nights, posting a solid 2.69 GAA and .920 SV% in 17 games (6-8-3). The Ducks enter Wednesday's contest as +139 home underdogs against a Jets team that played last night, defeating the San Jose Sharks 4-3.

Cam Talbot was back in the crease on Thursday but tweaked something at practice on Friday and will not be able to play on Saturday. Husso has a 3.74 GAA and .870 SV% in seven appearances (0-4-2) but has been better since his most recent call-up from the AHL, posting a .899 SV% in four appearances (0-2-1).

Colangelo was reassigned to San Diego (AHL) on Thursday.

Colangelo was sent down in order to make room on the roster for Robby Fabbri, who was surprisingly activated from injured reserve as he is set to return against the Maple Leafs on Thursday. Colangelo is yet to register a point in eight NHL games this season.
