Granlund (upper-body) will be a game-time vs. Seattle on Friday.

Granlund was a late scratch on Monday, with his absence being announced prior to warmups, and did not play on Wednesday. Macklin Celebrini centered the Sharks first line in his place. The 32-year-old Granlund has been excellent since joining the Sharks last season, scoring 84 points (21G / 63A) in 92 combined games.

The Blackhawks have been off since Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers and will roll with Mrazek between the pipes for a third straight game when the team visits the Dallas Stars. Mrazek is having his best season since being a member of the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2020-21 season, posting a 2.68 GAA and .912 SV% in 15 games (6-8-1). That said, the Blackhawks enter Wednesday's contest as sizeable +196 home underdogs against a Dallas Stars team that has already defeated them twice this season.

The 33-year-old Kreider hasn't been his usual productive self, with only nine points (9G / 0A) in 19 games this season, highlighted by a stretch of only one point (1G / 0A) in his previous six games.

Husso has been recalled from Grand Rapids (AHL) and will back-up vs. Calgary.

Alex Lyon (undisclosed) tweaked something at morning skate on Wednesday, resulting in the Red Wings recalling Husso to serve as Cam Talbot's backup against the Calgary Flames. The 29-year-old Husso has played two games with the Red Wings this season but has primarily been with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL), posting a 1.58 GAA and .944 SV% in five appearances (4-0-0).

Kreider (upper-body) will travel with New York on their upcoming road trip but is still considered day-to-day.

Carlsson (upper-body) left Monday's game vs. Seattle in the second period and did not return.

Carlsson was on the receiving end of a hit by Tye Kartye of the Seattle Kraken on Monday and exited the game shortly after, playing only 6:28 time-on-ice. No update has been provided on Carlsson's status, but more should be known before they hit the ice for their next contest on Wednesday in a rematch against Seattle. Carlsson, in his second NHL season, has 11 points (6G / 5A) in 20 games.

McTavish (upper-body) has been activated from IR and will return vs. Seattle on Monday.

McTavish has not played since November 8th, missing six games, but will return to the lineup on Monday against the Seattle Kraken. The 21-year-old McTavish has eight points (2G / 6A) in 13 games this season.

Dostal will start vs. Seattle on Monday.

The Ducks have received adequate goaltending for Dostal and John Gibson lately but will turn to Dostal between the pipes on Monday night against the Seattle Kraken. The 24-year-old Dostal has an impressive 2.69 GAA and .924 SV% in 13 appearances this season (5-6-2). The Ducks, sporting a .500 record (8-8-3) despite having the least potent offensive in the league (2.52 GF / GP), enter Monday's contest as +134 home underdogs against a Kraken club that has scored three or fewer goals in five straight (3-2-0).

The Blackhawks will turn to Mrazek between the pipes on Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 32-year-old Mrazek has been solid for the Blackhawks this season, posting a respectable 2.66 GAA and .911 SV%. He was tremendous in his previous outing, saving 32 of 33 shots (.970 SV%) in a 3-1 win over the Florida Panthers.

Mrazek has been sidelined the previous two games but will return to the crease on Thursday against the Florida Panthers. The 32-year-old Mrazek has been solid between the pipes for the Blackhawks this season, posting a 2.79 GAA and .906 SV% in 13 games (5-8-0).

Granlund left Wednesday's game late in the third period. He was eager to get in the mix for an offensive zone faceoff but was forced out of the game by a concussion spotter. Evidently, he was no worse for wear as he will be in the lineup on Thursday.
