The Stars have acquired Mikael Granlund and Cody Ceci from the Sharks for a 2025 first-round pick and a conditional 2025 third-round pick.

Granlund is in the final year of a four-year, $5.0M AAV deal. The veteran forward is having an outstanding season, recording 15 goals and 30 assist (45 points) in 52 games with the Sharks. He will provide depth in the Stars' middle-6, which was lacking a little bit following the injury to Tyler Seguin.

Granlund did not practice on Wednesday but will be available for Thursday's game against the Seattle Kraken. The 32-year-old Granlund has had a productive second season in San Jose, tallying 44 points (15G / 29A) in 51 games. He has seven points (3G / 4A) in his last five contests.

The Ducks have outscored their opposition 10-3 during a two-game winning streak and will roll with Dostal between the pipes on Tuesday against the Seattle Kraken. Dostal was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 32 of 33 shots (.970 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators. The Czech netminder has a 2.93 GAA and .910 SV% in 29 games this season (12-13-4). The Ducks enter Tuesday's contest as +114 road underdogs against a Kraken squad defeated 4-2 by the Edmonton Oilers last night.

The Ducks have been outscored 10-3 in their last three games (0-2-1) and will turn to Dostal between the pipes on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. Dostal has played well lately, saving 67 of 72 shots (.931 SV%) in his last two games (1-0-1). The Czech netminder has a 2.88 GAA and .910 SV% in 27 games this season (11-12-4). The Ducks enter Tuesday's contest as +228 home underdogs against a Panthers squad that defeated them 3-0 on Saturday.

Dostal will make his 26th start of the season when the Ducks travel to Tampa Bay on Thursday. Dostal was lights out his last time out, allowing just two goals on 37 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory over the Hurricanes. The 24-year-old netminder boasts an impressive .910 SV% on the season to go along with an 11-12-3 record. He'll need to be at his best again on Thursday as the Ducks enter action as sizable underdogs at +260 on the money line.

Kreider has not played since January 4th but will draw back into the lineup on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 33-year-old Kreider has struggled this season with only 15 points (13G / 2A) in 34 games but was playing better lately, scoring three points (2G / 1A) in three games before his injury.
