Bayreuther, 25, was called up but did not play with the Stars over the weekend and was returned to Texas on Monday. Bayreuther has one goal and four assists (five points) in 11 AHL games this season.

Robinson has three goals and two assists in 14 AHL games this season. The 24-year-old comes up and could make his season debut on Tuesday. He has failed to record a point in 14 career NHL games.

Merzlikins went down to get some playing time with Cleveland but was called back up quicker than originally planned. Joonas Korpisalo struggled last week, so Merzlikins returns after one game and will start Tuesday.

As expected, Kivlenieks served as Joonas Korpisalo's backup the entire time and is swapping spots with Elvis Merzlikins after the weekend. Kivlenieks is back with Cleveland, where he is 5-1-2 with a 2.37 GAA and .909 SV% in seven games.

Tore Krug was hurt late in Sunday's game vs. the Flyers, so Vaakanainen's call-up suggests that Krug will miss Tuesday's game and the 20-year-old defenseman will make his season debut. Vaakanainen was a first-round pick (No.18 overall) in 2017 and has two assists in 15 games with Providence this season.

This is the second time that Smith has been called up. During his first tour with the Red Wings, Smith had no points with four shots but carried an impressive 63.3 CorsiFor% in three games. During his time with the Griffins, the 21-year-old has scored three goals with four assists (seven points) in 10 games.

Volkov played in four games, including both games in Sweden, but failed to record a point with three shots while playing 11:56 ATOI. The 22-year-old winger returns to the Crunch where he has three assists in three games.




Heinola was the No.20 overall pick in this summer's NHL Draft and appeared in eight games with the Jets and three games with Manitoba (AHL) before being sent back to Finland. Appearing in just eight games with Winnipeg keeps the first year of Heniola's entry-level deal intact. The 18-year-old defenseman had 14 points (2G / 12A) in 34 games with Lukko Rauma last year.

Vorobyev appeared in one game during his most recent call-up and has just one assist in six games with the Flyers this year. Vorobyev returns to the AHL, where he has two goals and two assists in eight games. Andy Andreoff was recalled to take his spot on the roster.

Andreoff has had a nice start to the AHL season, posting three goals and four assists (seven points) in 10 games with Lehigh Valley. He was fourth among Syracuse Crunch (AHL) forwards in points (55) in 75 games last season but has never played more than a fourth-line role in the NHL. He has just 24 points (13G / 11A) in 159 career NHL games, all with the Los Angeles Kings.

Petan played one game during his most recent call-up and heads back to the AHL after clearing waivers on Friday afternoon. The 24-year-old, who has five points (2G / 3A) in two AHL games, becomes a more intriguing trade target for other teams after clearing waivers.

Cave appeared in three straight games with the Oilers but has been reassigned to Bakersfield, where he's got three assists in six games. Markus Granlund will likely replace him vs. the Devils on Friday.

Davidson has had a tremendous start to the AHL season, posting 10 points (2G / 8A) in 10 games with the Heat. Davidson replaces Oscar Kylington on the roster but is expected to serve as the No.7 defensemen on Thursday.

The Flames want Kylington to start killing penalties, so he will head to Stockton to work on that part of his game. Michael Stone will draw into the lineup to replace Kylington on Thursday.

Werner has gone 5-4-0 with a 2.88 GAA and .908 SV% in nine AHL games this season. Werner was called-up because something is up with Philipp Grubauer. He was not on the ice for Thursday's morning skate, so look for Werner to backup Pavel Francouz against the Predators.

Luoto came over from Finland this year and the 22-year-old has registered three assists in nine games with the Moose. Luoto will replace Bryan Little (head) on the roster and could make his NHL debut on Thursday.
