Blueger has not played since mid-October, but appears to be nearing a return to the lineup as he was a game-time decision on Monday against the New York Islanders. The 31-year-old Blueger has one goal in two games this season.

Ivan was a late addition to the Avalanche lineup on Monday but will now return to the AHL. The 23-year-old Czech forward has 10 points (2G / 8A) in 32 games with the Eagles (AHL) this season.

Barre-Boulet was a late addition to Colorado's lineup on Monday as Valeri Nichushkin was announced out because of an upper-body injury, but will now return to the AHL. The 28-year-old Barre-Boulet has 37 points (12G / 25A) in 36 games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) this season.

Markstrom followed up a two-game winning streak by allowing four goals on 35 shots (.886 SV%) in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. The 35-year-old goalie has a 3.02 GAA and .889 SV% in his last eight games (4-4-0). He will return to the crease on Monday, with the Devils entering action as slight -113 road favorites against his former team, the Calgary Flames, who have won three of their last four games (3-1-0).

Salomonsson took part in Monday's morning skate but was absent in warmups. It's unclear whether he is simply a healthy scratch or unavailable due to an undisclosed injury. Isaak Phillips will draw into the lineup in his place.

Phillips will get the chance to play in his first NHL game of the season after signing with the Jets in the off-season. The 24-year-old Phillips has 13 points (3G / 10A) in 33 games with Manitoba (AHL) this season.

Lafferty will make his first appearance since December 28th, as he slots into the lineup in place of Andre Burakovsky (illness). Lafferty has just one goal and one assist in 17 games this season.

Burakovsky has been absent from practice and will miss Monday's game against the Winnipeg Jets due to an illness. The 30-year-old Burakovsky snapped a four-game scoreless skid with an assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Boston Bruins. He has 30 points (10G / 20A) in 43 games this season.

Pederson was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) yesterday and will get the chance to play his first NHL game of the season after signing with the Flyers in the off-season. Pederson has 13 goals and 15 assists in 37 AHL games this season.

Megna will immediately slot into the lineup after being recalled from Henderson (AHL) earlier in the day. Megna will take the spot of the recently traded Zach Whitecloud, as Rasmus Andersson is not available yet due to immigration issues.

Nichushkin was an unexpected late scratch before Monday's game against the Washington Capitals because of the upper-body injury. Nichushkin was involved in a small "fender bender" but reportedly did not suffer any major injuries. The 30-year-old Nichushkin recorded an assist in his most recent game, snapping a six-game scoreless skid. He has 27 points (11G / 16A) in 38 games this season.

Knies has been battling through an undisclosed injury for parts of the season, causing him to miss some games and practices. The 23-year-old wasa game-time decision for Monday's game against the Minnesota Wild. He has struggled a little offensively lately, scoring only four points (1G / 3A) in his last eight games, but is still having a tremendous season, with 40 points (12G / 28A) in 45 games.

Hill endured an up-and-down return to the crease last week, ultimately coming away with the victory in a 6-5 overtime win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. It was the 29-year-old's first game since October 20th after a lower-body injury kept him out of the lineup for nearly three months. Hill carries a 2-0-2 record and an .872 SV% into Monday night's matchup, where the Golden Knights enter action at -210 on the money line.

Vladar was off to a rough start in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres, allowing two goals on five shots, but did not get the chance to redeem himself, leaving the game towards the end of the first period because of an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old Vladar has arguably been Philadelphia's most valuable player this season, posting a 2.46 GAA and .905 SV% in 28 games (16-7-4). Vladar's placement on injured reserve is retroactive to January 14th.

Brink left last Tuesday's game vs. Anaheim after just one shift and 26 seconds TOI due to an upper-body injury and has not played since. The 24-year-old forward has taken a step forward offensively in his third NHL season this year, with 11 goals, 20 points and 71 SOG in 41 games played.

Andersson was finally acquired by the Golden Knights on Sunday, materializing trade rumours that have circulated since the offseason. The 29-year-old Andersson was having a tremendous season with the Flames, but an eventual trade was all but certain for the impending UFA defenseman. He was pacing for career-best offensive totals before the trade, scoring 30 points (10G / 20A) in 48 games with Calgary. Andersson's work visa is still being finalized, and it's unclear when he will be able to make his Golden Knights debut.
