Hellebuyck stopped 17 of 18 shots in the USA's win over Latvia in their tournament opener. Hellebuyck sat for Game 2, but will be back in net for Sunday's game vs. Germany. Hellebuyck and the Americans are large favourites against the Germans.

Morrissey got hurt early in Canada's tournament opening win over the Czechs, and will miss their second game vs. Switzerland. Team Canada didn't provide much of an update on Morrissey's status, so it's unclear how many games he will miss. Travis Sanheim will draw into the lineup to replace Morrissey.

Morrissey played just 7:10 TOI before leaving Thursday's game vs. Czechia with an undisclosed injury. If Morrissey misses Friday's game vs. Switzerland, Travis Sanheim will dress as Canada's seventh defenseman. Shea Theodore will presumably take on a bigger role after starting Wednesday's game as the seventh blueliner.

Rosen has spent the last six weeks in the AHL and will draw back into the Sabres lineup on Monday against the Florida Panthers. The 22-year-old Rosen has seven points (3G / 4A) in 13 games with the Sabres this season. Konsta Helenius will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Rosen's return.

Despite losing four of his last five (1-3-1), Hellebuyck has played better lately, posting a 2.40 GAA and .913 SV%. That said, he has not played up to the elite form that has become expected of the three-time Vezina Trophy winner, allowing three or more goals in nine of his last 12 games (4-5-3) while posting a subpar 3.09 GAA and .895 SV%. He will likely return to the crease on Saturday against a Florida Panthers team that he saved 19 of 20 shots (.950 SV%) against in a 2-1 shootout loss two weeks ago.
