The Red Wings have acquired Dylan McIlrath and a conditional 2017 3rd round pick from the Panthers for Thomas Vanek.
McIlrath, 24, was the 10th overall pick in 2010 and has had a tough time elevating his game to the NHL-level. The 6-foot-5, 220 lbs. defenseman has been waived a few times this season and will likely report to Grand Rapids (AHL). McIlrath has one goal and three assists in 22 AHL games this season and five points (3G / 2A) in 43 career NHL games.
The Wild have sent Alex Tuch to Iowa (AHL).
Tuch failed to record a point in three games during his call-up and has now recorded zero points in six games with the Wild. Tuch returns to Iowa, where he has 12 goals and 13 assists (25 points) in 36 games this season.

Beauvillier (foot) will return to the Islanders lineup on Thursday.
Beauvillier missed Tuesday’s game with a minor foot injury, but will be in the lineup when the Islanders take on the Canadiens tonight. The rookie winger has four goals and seven assists (11 points) in his first 32 NHL games.
Beauvillier (undisclosed) will not play on Tuesday.
Beauvillier was dinged up by blocking a shot during the Islanders loss to the Flyers on Sunday. Beauvillier will be replaced by Andrew Ladd (upper-body), who draws back in after a four-game absence. Consider Beauvillier as day-to-day.

Beauvillier has been a healthy scratch for the last four games, but will be back in tonight in Florida. He will replace Shane Prince in the lineup and comes into play with nine points (4G / 5A) in 26 games this season.

The Panthers have sent Dylan McIlrath to Springfield (AHL) on a conditioning stint.
McIlrath has been a healthy scratch for the last seven games and heads to Springfield to get some games in. The former 10th overall pick has one goal in four games with the Panthers and could spend as many as two weeks in the AHL before being recalled.
Chychrun (upper-body) will return to the lineup on Tuesday.
Chychrun missed last Friday’s game with an upper-body injury, but will get back in the Coyotes’ lineup tonight vs. the Stars. The rookie defenseman has one goal and five assists in 26 games sos far this season.
