The New York Rangers have signed Johnny Brodzinski to a two-year contract extension worth $1.575 million ($787,500 AAV).

He's managed to be an effective offensive contributor at the NHL level and has been rewarded with a two-year $1.575 million contract extension. Lindgren snapped a four-game losing streak over the weekend and will return to the crease on Tuesday night. The 30-year-old Lindgren was sensational on Saturday, saving all 18 shots he faced in a 3-0 win over the Boston Bruins, giving him a career-high three shutouts this season. That said, the Capitals are +155 home underdogs on Tuesday, matching up poorly against the second-best offensive team in the league, the Colorado Avalanche (3.66 GF / GP).
Rempal has been reassigned to the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).
Rempal was recalled to take the place of Paul Cotter (illness) in the lineup for Monday's game against the Wild. He tallied one shot on goal and was held scoreless in 9:06 time-on-ice. Rempal has two goals in five games with the Golden Knights this season.
Kampf (undisclosed) is expected to return to Toronto's lineup on Tuesday.
Kampf has not played since the All-Star break but will return to the Maple Leafs' lineup on Tuesday night. The bottom-six forward has one assist in his last 10 games played and is having a down season by his standards with just four goals, eight points, and a -9 plus/minus in 46 games before his injury.
