Jenner was limited to only 7:21 time-on-ice in the Blue Jackets' most recent game, exiting in the second period due to an upper-body injury. The 32-year-old has battled injuries over the past few years. He has 10 points (3G / 7A) in 16 games this season.

The Blues sit at the bottom of the league with a 4-8-2 record through 14 games, and hope to shake things up by benching one of their star players, Jordy Kyrou, on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres. Dubois missed five games earlier this season due to a lower-body injury. He returned and suited up for three games before exiting the third contest due to a lower-body injury, and will not be sidelined indefinitely. It's unclear if the two injuries are related. The 27-year-old Dubois had a career-high 66 points (20G / 46A) in 82 games in 2024-25, but has started this season with zero points in six games.
