Schmid will start vs. the Rangers on Tuesday.

Schmid has earned Vegas a point in his last five starts and will look to keep his recent success going as he takes on the New York Rangers in Vegas on Tuesday. The 25-year-old Swiss netminder has done an admirable job filling in for Adin Hill (IR) in his absence this season, with his 7-1-2 record, .900 SV% and 2.50 GAA in 10 appearances. He hosts the red-hot New York Rangers, who had a three game win streak snapped on Sunday after a 2-1 loss to Detroit.
