Hagg will become the Flyers seventh defenseman with Shayne Gostisbehere returning from a knee injury on Thursday. That spot used to belong to Philippe Myers but he has leaped over Hagg on the depth chart with some strong play as of late.
Hertl was forced to leave Wednesday's game after only a few shifts after falling awkwardly in a collision with Chris Tanev. Hertl tore both his MCL and ACL and will miss the rest of the season. An already difficult season for San Jose just got a whole lot worse. They'll now be without both of their top-2 centres for an extended period of time.
Hart has been sidelined by a right abdominal strain since January 13th and will miss at least a minimum of seven more days. The Flyers said he feels "significantly better" after the break but still isn't quite ready.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy was frustrated with his blueline on Sunday, so it seems likely that Lauzon will draw into the lineup on Tuesday. Lauzon figures to replace Matt Grzelcyk and comes up with 13 points (1G / 12A) in 43 AHL games.
Karlsson has missed just two games over the last four and a half years and has never missed a game in a Vegas uniform until tonight. Karlsson will miss at least a couple of weeks and Paul Stastny is the most likely candidate to move into the top-6.
Hart left Tuesday's practice early and was evaluated after the session. On Wednesday, the Flyers announced that their No.1 netminder will miss at least two weeks with an abdominal strain. With Hart out, Brian Elliott takes over as their starter and Alex Lyon was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) to serve as the No.2.
Hill gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Coyotes loss to the Penguins on Sunday. Since being thrust into duty, Hill has gone 1-1-1 with a 2.94 GAA and .908 SV% in three starts and two relief appearances. On Tuesday he will face a Sharks team that is 4-1-1 while scoring 2.83 goals per game in their first six games of the calendar year.
Hart left the practice session and will be checked out for a potential lower-body issue. Brian Elliott was already scheduled to start Wednesday, so they may need to call-up a backup, but expect an update on Wednesday.

He stopped 26 of 28 shots in a 3-2 shootout win in his first start vs. the Bruins, who are 4-3-1 while averaging 3.00 goals per game in their last eight road games.

Hart is happy to be back in Philalphia, where he is now 12-1-2 with a 1.52 GAA, .945 SV% and one shutout at the Wells Fargo Centre this season. He draws a terrible assignment with the Lightning in town on Saturday. They are riding a nine-game winning streak and have scored at least four goals in six of those games.
Hill stopped 37 of 39 shots in the Coyotes win in Florida on Tuesday. Hill's first start of the season couldn't have gone better but he'll be in tough in Tampa Bay on Thursday. He has stopped 47 of 51 shots (.922 SV%) in his two appearances this season and will face a Lightning team that has won eight in a row while averaging 4.75 goals per game.
Andersson was a pending restricted free agent who is now signed through the 2025-26 season. Andersson often fills in on the Flames top pair and is a future everyday top pair defenseman making second pair money. The 23-year-old has 12 points (3G / 9A) in 45 games this season while carrying a 52.9 CF% and +3.0 CF% rel.
Hart was yanked after he allowed three goals on 12 shots in the Flyers 6-2 loss in Arizona on Saturday. Hart struggled on the road-trip, going 0-3-0 while giving up 15 goals on 88 shots (.830 SV%) in four games. He'll be happy to return to home-ice, where he has gone 11-1-2 with a 1.49 GAA, .947 SV% and one shutout in 14 games this season.
Hill gave up two goals on 12 shots in relief of Antti Raanta in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Flyers. With both Raanta and Darcy Kuemper dealing with injuries, Hill becomes the Coyotes' temporary No.1 netminder and comes in at 8-8-0 with a 2.89 GAA and .901 SV% in 19 career NHL appearances. He was 9-3-0 with a 2.77 GAA and .907 SV% in 12 AHL games at the time that he was called-up.
