Tanev has been out since April 3rd but could be back in the lineup on Saturday. Tanev, who is officially considered a game-time decision will return in a bottom-6 capacity and comes in with 16 points (7G / 9A) in 32 games this season.

Weegar missed the last two games vs. the Blue Jackets but is expected to play tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Weegar was back on the top pairing at the morning skate and is expected to replace Anton Stralman in the lineup.

Tanev has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury but was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and the Penguins say "there's a good chance" he plays on Thursday. Tanev was hot before he got hurt, scoring two goals and six assists in his last eight games.


Trocheck has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury but could return to the lineup on Tuesday. Trocheck has skated between Andrei Svechnikov and Jesper Fast for the last two days, so all signs are pointing towards him playing in Chicago.


Yamamoto was a bit of a surprise scratch on Thursday and will not play Saturday vs. the Jets. With Yamamoto out, look for Josh Archibald to continue to skate on the Oilers' second line with Leon Draisaitl.
