Zack MacEwen is expected to make his 2022-23 playoff debut in Game 3 vs. Edmonton.
MacEwen has yet to appear in the 2022-23 playoffs but will be in the Kings' lineup for Game 3 as he replaced Arthur Kaliyev on Los Angeles fourth line. The 26-year-old had four goals, six assists, 73 SOG, 66 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 56 games with Los Angeles and Philadelphia this season.
Matthew Knies will make his NHL Playoff debut Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.
Knies finished his short regular season tenure with the Maple Leafs with an assist and a +1 plus/minus through three games after posting 42 points (21G/21A) in 40 games with the University of Minnesota (NCAA) earlier this season and will make his playoff debut Thursday for Game 2. The 20-year-old rookie will be replacing Michael Bunting in the Maple Leafs' lineup, who is serving the first game of his three-game suspension.
Benoit-Olivier Groulx has been reassigned to San Diego (AHL).
Groulx played in two games for the Ducks, failing to pick up a point while collecting two SOG and has been reassigned to San Diego (AHL) on Friday. The 23-year-old returns to the AHL, where he had 18 goals, 21 assists, 41 PIMs and a -20 plus/minus through 61 games prior to his call up.

Matthews missed the Maple Leafs' previous game due to rest-related reasons but will draw back into the lineup for Toronto's final game Thursday. The 25-year-old is currently sitting on 40 goals, 45 assists, 324 SOG, 20 PIMs and a +31 plus/minus through 73 games this season.

The 20-year-old is the Maple Leafs' 2021 second-round pick (57th overall) and had 21 goals and 21 assists, in 40 games with the University of Minnesota.

Bobrovsky has missed the last five games with an illness, but Mack Guzda was sent back to the AHL, suggesting that Bobrovsky will at least be healthy enough to serve as the backup on Saturday. Alex Lyon has been incredible with Bobrovsky sidelined, winning five in a row while stopping 172 of the 179 shots (.961 SV%) that he's faced.
