Stolarz allowed three goals on 22 shots in the Panthers' win in San Jose on Tuesday. Stolarz has had very easy matchups so far this season, facing the Sharks twice and the Blackhawks once, and he's gone 2-1-0 with an .892 SV%. You'd certainly expect him to have better numbers, but he draws another strong matchup tonight vs. his former team, the Ducks, who will be without Trevor Zegras and Leo Carlsson.

Maccelli exited Thursday's game with an upper-body injury after playing only 6:04 time-on-ice but seems to have avoided a serious injury. The talented Finnish winger has been having a solid season with the Coyotes, totalling 11 points (2G / 9A) in 16 games while primarily playing Nick Bjugstad and Lawson Crouse on the Coyotes' second line.

Maccelli exited the game in the second period after taking a puck to the face and did not return. The 23-year-old winger has two goals and nine assists in 16 games to open the season. We should expect to receive an update on Maccelli's injury and a possible timeline for his recovery in the coming days.

Pezzetta will return to the lineup after not playing in the Canadiens' most recent game, drawing in for an injured Rafael Harvey-Pinard (lower body). Pezzetta has two points (1G / 1A) in 12 games, averaging 7:46 time-on-ice, and is expected to suit up on the fourth line with Jesse Ylonen and Jake Evans.

After making his season debut with the Lightning on Tuesday, Myers has been reassigned to the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL. In his debut, Myers played 15:32 time-on-ice, recording two shots, two hits, and a -1 plus/minus rating.

Stolarz will likely start for the first time since November 4th when he allowed four goals on 24 shots (.833 SV%) in a 5-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. In two games this season (1-1-0), Stolarz has a 2.57 GAA and .904 SV% and will look to build on those totals against the league-wost offence of the San Jose Sharks (1.20 GF / GP). The Sharks have already been shut out three times this season, held to fewer than two goals an alarming 12 times in only 15 games (2-12-1). As such, the Panthers enter action as -282 road favourites against the Sharks.

Myers was recalled from Syracuse over the weekend and will make his season debut Tuesday vs. St. Louis as he replaces Erik Cernak (undisclosed) in the Lightning lineup. The 26-year-old is in his sixth NHL season and had a goal, two assists, 21 SOG and four PIMs in 11 games with Tampa in 2022-23.

McCabe has been out of the lineup since suffering a groin injury after playing only 10 seconds against the Dallas Stars on October 26th. Before his injury, McCabe was averaging 19:33 time-on-ice per night. He is expected to slot onto the Maple Leafs' second defensive pair alongside Mark Giordano just as John Klingberg exits the lineup with an undisclosed injury.

Boyd has yet to score this season but has three assists, nine SOG, two PIMs and a -1 plus/minus in seven games played but will be a healthy scratch Thursday as Jason Zucker (lower body) makes his Coyotes' debut. Boyd is in this seventh NHL season and will hope to be back in the Coyotes' lineup sooner rather than later.

Myers has been recalled to Tampa Bay for the first time this season from Syracuse (AHL) after scoring a goal and three points in 11 games played in his first season in Tampa in 2022-23. He has spent the early part of 2023-24 in the minors, where he had two assists, 19 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus in nine games played so far. The 26-year-old is entering his sixth NHL season and is expected to replace Zack Bogosian, who was traded to Minnesota on Wednesday.

Woll has allowed 16 goals on the last 113 shots he has faced (.858 SV%) and will attempt to return to his early-season form on Friday when he takes on a Calgary Flames team that ranks 25th in the league offensively (2.67 GF / GP). In his first four games of the season (3-1-0), Woll was nearly impenetrable, saving 122 of 127 shots (.961 SV%), gaining the favour of the coaching staff in Toronto. The Maple Leafs have gone back to mostly rotating between goaltenders now as the team hopes one of them can emerge as a bonafide starter.

Woll will return to the crease for the Maple Leafs after starting the team's previous matchup backing up Ilya Samsonov but eventually entering the net in relief and making 18 of 19 saves in an eventual 6-5 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Before his strong relief effort on Tuesday, Woll allowed nine goals on 67 shots (.866 SV%) in his previous two games (0-2-0), a blemish on an otherwise impervious season thus far. The Maple Leafs are -156 home favourites against an Ottawa Senators team that has lost five of their last six (1-5-0).
