Paul, 20, may make his NHL debut on Tuesday with Mika Zibanejad questionable with an illness. Paul has picked up 17 points (6G / 11A) in 45 games with Binghamton this season. He centred the fourth line with Shane Prince and Chris Neil on the wing in the Senators’ morning skate.


Paul did not appear in a game with the Senators during his call-up. He head back to Binghamton, where he has 17 points (6G / 11A) in 43 games this season.

Vasilevskiy stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout won over the Maple Leafs on January 27th. It was Vasilevskiy’s eighth win and first shutout of the season. He gets the nod tonight in Ottawa with Ben Bishop starting on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy has gone 4-3-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .912 SV% on the road this season.


McDonagh will not play on Monday after suffering a concussion on Saturday. He suffered the injury when he was punched in the head by Flyers’ forward Wayne Simmonds. With McDonagh out, Dylan McIlrath will return to the lineup. There’s no timetable for McDonagh’s return.

He gave up four goals on 37 shots in a 5-4 OT win in the first meeting, but that was when Toronto could score.

Girgensons missed the last four games but will return to the lineup on Monday vs. the Rangers. Girgensons, who has just three goals and five assists in 40 games this season, will skate on the second line with Jack Eichel and Matt Moulson.

Vasilevskiy has won his last four starts while posting a 2.85 GAA and .909 SV% and will make his 11th start tonight vs. the Oilers.
