The Rangers have sent Pavel Buchnevich to Hartford (AHL).

Buchnevich has been a healthy scratch for the last three games and was sent to Hartford this afternoon to create a roster spot to add Brendan Smith from Detroit today. Buchnevich has had a really inconsistent season and has had his play fall off a lot recently.

Drouin (illness) will return to the Lightning's lineup on Monday.

Drouin missed last Thursday’s game vs. the Flames with an illness, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Senators. Drouin is expected to be back on a line with Brayden Point and Alex Killorn and comes into Monday with 17 goals and 19 assists (36 points) in 51 games this season.

Drouin (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Drouin has been battling the flu for a few weeks, but hasn’t missed any games. He was absent for Wednesday’s practice and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game. It’s unclear whether it is the illness or something else that is bothering Drouin, but monitor his status during warmups at 7:00p.m. ET.
