Grubauer stopped 38 of 40 shots in Colorado's 3-2 shootout loss in Dallas on Saturday. It was a great game for Grubauer but it extended his winless streak to five games (0-3-1). He has posted a 3.01 GAA and .912 SV% over that stretch and tonight he faces a Jets team that has lost five of their last six (1-4-1) while averaging 2.83 goals per game.

Murray allowed four goals on just 14 shots in the Penguins 4-1 loss in Vancouver last Saturday. No one needed the Christmas break more than the 25-year-old Penguins' netminder, who is 1-3-3 with a 3.89 GAA and .848 SV% in his last eight starts. He comes into Saturday's game at 6-2-2 with a 2.58 GAA and .913 SV% at the PPG Paints Arena this season.

Grubauer allowed four goals on 31 shots in Colorado's 5-3 loss to the Blackhawks last Saturday. With Pavel Francouz starting against the Wild last night, Grubauer will start tonight in Dallas. Grubauer has lost three in a row while giving up 10 goals on 104 shots (.904 SV%) and is 0-2-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .910 SV% in two games against the Stars this season.

Kakko missed the final two games before the break but is expected to be back on the third line on Friday. Kakko has scored six goals with eight assists (14 points) in 32 games this season.

With Kakko unavailable for the Ducks, Michael Haley will draw back into the Rangers lineup on Sunday afternoon. Kakko's injury is not believed to be serious but it puts him in jeopardy of missing Monday's game in Philadelphia as well.


This will be Hayden's first game since November 26th and will replace Michael McLeod in Columbus. Hayden has just one assist in 11 games this season.



With Nikita Kucherov questionable to play on Tuesday, Stephens comes back up and could play vs. the Senators. Stephens failed to record a point in four games with Tampa Bay but has 10 points (5G / 5A) in 24 AHL games.

Mahura played in three of the last four games with the Ducks but swaps spots with Jacob Larsson. The 21-year-old blueliner has four points (1G / 3A) in 11 NHL games and two assists in 10 AHL games in 2019-20.

Grubauer will make his first start since December 7th after missing three games with a hamstring injury. Between his two injuries, Grubauer has gone 4-2-0 with a 2.69 GAA and .912 SV% in seven starts. On the season, he is 5-3-1 with a 2.68 GAA and .918 SV% on the road this year but faces a Blues team that has won five of their last seven home games.

Grubauer has missed the last two games but practiced on Thursday and will at least backup Pavel Francouz on Friday. If he starts, Grubauer comes into the game at 5-2-1 with a 2.87 GAA and .910 SV% on home-ice.

Grubauer was hurt early in Saturday's win in Boston but will be available to backup on Monday. Grubauer was on the ice for the morning skate but they'll give him the night off, so Pavel Francouz will start against the Flames.

Grubauer was hurt in Saturday's win over the Bruins but is expected to test his hamstring in Monday's morning skate. If it's irritated he’ll get off and Colorado will recall someone to backup Pavel Francouz.

Stephens was a second-round pick (No.33 overall) in 2015 and could make his NHL debut on Monday. Stephens has appeared in 131 AHL games before finally getting called-up, including 24 this season and recording 10 points (5G / 5A). Stephens is skating with the fourth-line in the Lightning's morning skate.

Murray allowed five goals on 27 shots in the Penguins loss in St. Louis last Saturday. Tristan Jarry has been getting more work because he is playing a lot better than Murray, but Murray gets the call tonight because Jarry went last night vs. Arizona. Murray is 0-2-3 with a 3.99 GAA and .852 SV% in his last six starts but he is a must-start on Saturday against a Red Wings team that has lost 10 straight games.

Grubauer stopped 38 of the 39 shots in Colorado's win in Toronto on Wednesday. Grubauer has gone 3-0-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .943 SV% in his last three outings but draws a horrendous matchup on Saturday night. The Bruins are 12-0-5 while scoring 3.53 goals per game in their 17 home games this season.

Grubauer allowed three goals on 29 shots in Colorado's win over the Blackhawks on Saturday. Grubauer has won two in a row while stopping 45 of the 49 shots (.918 SV%) that he has faced. The 28-year-old has gone 4-3-1 with a 2.86 GAA and .912 SV% on the road this season and catches the Maple Leafs on the tail-end of a back-to-back on Wednesday.
