Price will start Sunday vs. the Devils.

Price allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Canadiens win over the Red Wings on Monday. It was Price’s first win since February 4th and 16th of the season. He stopped 31 of 32 shots in a 2-1 OT win in his first and only start against the Devils this season.

Price gave up six goals on 30 shots in the Candadiens loss to the Capitals on Saturday. Price has struggled mightily since returning to the crease last Wednesday, allowing a combined 11 goals on 69 shots (.841 SV%) in two starts. Despite his struggles, he remains a strong option tonight with the Red Wings in town.

Price will start Saturday vs. the Capitals.

Price gave up five goals on 39 shots in the Canadiens loss in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. It was a rough return to the crease for Price, who has had the toughest year of his career in 2018. His first start against Washington was a disaster as he was pulled after allowing four goals on 14 shots in the first period of a 6-1 loss.

Comrie will make his third career NHL start on Tuesday.

Comrie has gone 17-11-3 with a 2.56 GAA and .918 SV% in 31 games with Manitoba (AHL) this season. Comrie started one NHL game this season. He allowed five goals on 35 shots in a 6-4 loss in Florida back in early-December. Comrie is a risky start at this point in the season--especially against a Kings team that is tied for third in the NHL in road wins (21).

Trouba (concussion protocol) will not play on Tuesday.

Trouba is being re-evaluated for a concussion and is not going to be in the Jets lineup vs. the Kings on Tuesday. This is a terrible break for the Jets and Trouba owners, who just recently got the start defeseman back in the lineup last week. Joe Morrow will replace Trouba in the lineup tonight.

Price will return to the Canadiens crease on Wednesday.

Price has been sidelined with a concussion since February 20th, but will return tonight in Pittsburgh. Despite being out the playoff picture, the Canadiens will give Price the opportunity to finish the season strong. Price has been terrible on the road, going 4-15-1 with a 3.36 GAA and .897 SV% this season.

Price (concussion) will travel to Toronto but will not play Saturday.

Price has been out with a concussion since February 20th but it looks like he is nearing a return to the Habs’ crease. Price won’t play in Toronto but the plan is for him to practice with the team until he is ready to start.

The Jets have recalled Eric Comrie from Manitoba (AHL).

With Steve Mason already out for a couple of weeks and Michael Hutchinson leaving Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury, Comrie comes up as the Jets’ temporary No.2 netminder. Winnipeg wants to get Hellebuyck some rest, so Comrie could see some playing time during this call-up. The 22-year-old has gone 17-11-3 with a 2.56 GAA and .918 SV% in 31 games with the Moose, but has allowed nine goals on 74 shots (.878 SV%) in two career NHL games.

The Lightning have signed Alex Barre-Boulet to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Barre-Boulet, 20, is an undrafted free agent in his fourth season in the QMJHL. The undersized forward (5-foot-9 / 167 lbs) isn’t the first small, undrafted free agent the Lightning have signed in years past. Barre-Boulet has picked up an impressive 49 goals and 55 assists (104 points) in just 57 games with Blainville-Boisbriand this season.

The Flyers have sent Oskar Lindblom to Lehigh Valley (AHL) to make him eligible to play in the AHL playoffs.

Lindblom has been up for the last three games and will be back up with Flyers on Tuesday, but had to go down today to ensure he can play in the AHL playoffs. He had no points in three games with the Flyers, but if his AHL numbers (16G-18A in 54 games) are any indication, he should produce at this level.

Trouba (ankle) returned to the ice on Monday.

Trouba has been out since January 25th and appears to be on target for his original mid-March timeline. Trouba has picked up three goals and 17 assists (20 points) in 50 games before getting hurt and will be a huge boost for a Jets team with Stanley Cup aspirations.
