Skinner will miss 3-to-4 weeks with an upper-body injury.

Skinner was forced to leave Friday's game with an upper-body injury and Buffalo announced that he will miss at least three weeks. Skinner has been stuck in a tough stretch, point just one assist in his last nine games but this is still a horrible loss for the Sabres. Skinner will be out until at least mid-to-late January.

The Jets have claimed Eric Comrie off of waivers from the Red Wings.

The 2019-20 season has been a roller coaster for Comrie. He was in training camp with the Jets but was claimed off of waivers by the Coyotes on October 1st, then traded to Detroit on November 30th. Comrie appeared in three games with Detroit (2 starts), going 0-2-0 with a 4.28 GAA and .864 SV% and was waived on Wednesday. Now he returns to the Jets where it all started.

Price starts Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Price stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Canadiens' win in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Cayden Primeau started the following night, so Price is well-rested coming into this superb matchup with the Red Wings. He has won three straight while stopping 83 of the 87 shots (.954 SV%) that he has faced. He is a must-start and arguably the best option on a busy Saturday slate.
