Leason split his 2021-22 season between the NHL and AHL. With the Capitals, he had six points (3G / 3A) in 36 games and had 13 points (6G / 7A) in 31 AHL games. He'll replace Tom Wilson, who is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Marchment missed the final three games of the regular season, presumably to nurse some bumps and bruises ahead of their first-round matchup with the Capitals. Marchment burst onto the scene in 2022, scoring 18 goals with 29 assists (47 points) in 54 games.
Nurse missed the final four games of the regular season with a lower-body injury but will be a game-time decision for Game 1 vs. the Kings.
Trouba scratched on Wednesday but was back on the ice for Friday's morning skate and is expected to play on Friday. Trouba has picked up 15 points (3G / 12A) in 27 his last 27 games.
Marchment will be held out of the lineup on Tuesday with Carter Verhaeghe drawing back into the lineup to replace him.
Nedeljkovic missed the morning skate due to illness and head coach Jeff Blashill called him a game-time decision. Either way, it sounds like Thomas Greiss gets the start and Magnus Hellberg will serve as his backup if Nedeljkovic is unavailable.
