Knyzhov (Achilles) was activated from IR and assigned to San Jose (AHL).
The 24-year-old defenseman had not played competitive hockey since May 2021 due to an Achilles injury and was activated from the injured reserve and assigned to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) after a long-term injury conditioning loan. The young defenseman had previously played in 59 NHL games, with two goals and 10 points.
Svechnikov will draw into the Sharks lineup on Friday.
Svechnikov has been a healthy scratch for the last eight games but he will replace Matt Nieto, who was traded to Colorado on Wednesday. Svechnikov has eight points (4G / 4A) in 33 games this season.

He will face the Winnipeg Jets, who lost their last game 2-1 to Nashville but are 11th in the NHL in goals per game (3.27).

Nedeljkovic was placed on waivers Sunday and cleared, assigning him to Grand Rapids (AHL) where he is 3-2-2 with a .920 SV% and a 2.30 GAA. The 27-year-old had struggled with the Red Wings, with a .880 SV%, 4.09 GAA and 2-4-2 record.
The Predators have reassigned Yaroslav Askarov to Milwaukee (AHL).

Eric Comrie has been activated from the injured reserve (lower body).
Comrie hasn't played since Nov. 16th due to a lower-body injury but was activated Monday from the injured reserve. The 27-year-old has struggled this season, with his 4-7-0 record, 3.62 GAA and .887 SV%.
The Sabres recalled Eric Comrie from his conditioning stint with Rochester (AHL).
Comrie suffered a lower-body injury on November 16th and played three games with Rochester during his conditioning stint, going 1-2-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .898 SV%. Since he got hurt, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has emerged as the Sabres' No.1 netminder, clouding Comrie's role moving forward.
Alex Nedeljkovic has been assigned to Grand Rapids (AHL) on a conditioning loan.
2022-23 has been a nightmare for Nedeljkovic, who has a 2-4-2 record, 4.09 GAA and .880 SV%. He will head back to Grand Rapids (AHL) in hope of refinding his game similar to the .932 SV% he posted in 23 games in 2020-21 which had many people thinking he was the Red Wings' goalie of the future.

Kaut missed the Avalanches' last three games due to an upper-body injury and will return to the lineup Monday. The 23-year-old has struggled to produce this season, with one goal, two assists, 20 SOG and a -2 plus/minus through 21 games this season.
