Price will start Thursday vs. the Panthers.

Price stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Stars on Tuesday. Price has won four of his last five starts while posting a 1.77 GAA and .938 SV%. Price has recorded his 35th win for the third time in 10 seasons. In his first start against the Panthers, Price gave up four goals on 24 shots in a 4-3 OT loss.

Price allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Senators on Saturday. Al Montoya was expected to start tonight, but he suffered a lower-body injury in the morning skate, so Price will go tonight vs. Dallas. Price is an impressive 7-2-0 with a 1.65 GAA and .939 SV% in March.

The Hurricanes have recalled Alex Nedeljkovic from Florida (ECHL)

Eddie Lack had to be taken off on a stretcher in the Hurricanes’ OT loss to Detroit last night, so Nedeljkovic will come up to take his spot on the roster. The 21-year-old netminder has gone 8-14-0 with a 3.40 GAA and .881 SV% with Charlotte (AHL) and 4-4-0 with a 3.64 GAA and .885 SV% with Florida this season.

Price stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Senators on Sunday. Al Montoya gave him the night off yesterday, so Price will get the nod tonight, despite being listed as questionable. Price has been impressive, going 6-1-0 with a 1.55 GAA and .942 SV% in seven March starts. He is a must-start tonight.
