Hallander has 10 goals with 13 assists (23 points) in 52 AHL games this season. This is Hallander's first season in North America after spending the last three in the SHL.

The Bruins have eight NHL defensemen so they are expected to rotate them with some regularity. Clifton will be replaced by Josh Brown, who will be making his Bruins debut.

Lizotte was not on the ice for the Kings' morning skate and will not play vs. the Kraken. Lias Andersson will draw into the lineup to replace him on the fourth line.

It's unclear why Malkin is not on the ice, he was present for the morning skate and was expected to play in New York. Jeff Carter would likely move up the lineup to replace Malkin.


Rakell did not arrive in time for the morning skate but is still expected to make his debut vs. the Blue Jackets. With him missing the morning skate, it's unclear who he will skate with.




Rakell will miss his third straight game with an upper-body injury but he's also a key trade piece for the Ducks, so they may be playing it safe ahead of Monday's deadline.




Jones has played in 12 straight games but will come out of the lineup on Thursday to make room for Riley Stillman. Jones' offence has actually picked up recently, posting five points (1G / 4A) in his last seven games.


With Jordan Greenway returning from an upper-body injury, Dewar will be the one to sit to make room for him. Dewar had become a regular in the Wild lineup, posting five points (2G / 3A) in 27 games.

With Mike Smith dealing with an illness, Skinner will serve as Mikko Koskinen's backup in Calgary. Skinner has gone 11-2-4 with a 2.24 GAA and .919 SV% in 18 games with Bakersfield this season.
