Kaedan Korczak News

Korczak will take a seat on Tuesday in favour of Ben Hutton. Korczak has three goals and 11 assists in 75 games this season.

Ben Hutton will be a healthy scratch on Monday, allowing Korczak to re-enter the lineup. The 32-year-old Korczak is averaging 16:14 time-on-ice and has 14 points (3G / 11A) in 72 games this season.

Korczak was a full-time NHLer in 2024-25 but served as the Golden Knights' No.7 defenseman, appearing in just 40 games. He finished the season with 10 points (0G / 10A), 34 SO and 59 hits in 40 games. With Alex Pietrangelo expected to miss all of 2025-26 (and maybe retiring), Korczak should be an everyday player for Vegas this season.

Korczak will fill in for Alex Pietrangelo, who was a surprise scratch for Game 1 due to an illness. Korczak is yet to play in the post-season, though he did appear in 40 regular season games for the Golden Knights this season, logging ten assists, 40 blocked shots, and 59 hits.

Jonas Rondbjerg will draw back into the Vegas lineup on Thursday against the New Jersey Devils, resulting in Korczak being a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old Korczak dressed as a seventh defenseman for the Golden Knights in their most recent game and was limited to only 3:34 time-on-ice.

Korczak will fill in for Tanner Pearson (undisclosed), as Vegas is opting to dress seven defencemen on Tuesday. Korczak has 0 goals and three assists in 17 games this season.

Korczak will take a seat on Thursday to make room for the return of Zach Whitecloud (upper-body). Korczak has zero goals and three assists in 17 games this season.

Korczak immediately exits the lineup after drawing back in for Monday's game against the Hurricanes. Ben Hutton will take his spot in the Golden Knights' lineup.

Korczak will make his first appearance since October 30th. He'll take the place of Ben Hutton, who is a healthy scratch. Korczak has zero goals and two assists in four games this season.

Korczak was a surprise addition to the lineup, as Shea Theodore was announced as a late scratch due to illness. Korczak tallied one goal and eight assists in 26 games last season.

After three seasons in Vegas, Kaedan Korczak will remain a Golden Knight after signing a two-year contract extension worth $1.65 million ($825K AAV). The 23-year-old took a step forward in 2023-24, picking up a goal, nine points and a +12 plus/minus while only appearing in 26 games (career-high).

Korczak's stay with Henderson (AHL) was very brief after he was recalled Thursday for Lukas Cormier after a five game showing with the Silver Knights. Korczak has impressed when called upon for the Golden Knights this season, with one goal, six assists, 16 SOG, and a +7 plus/minus through 15 games played.
