Arturs Silovs will make his NHL debut vs. the New York Rangers on Wednesday.

Silovs was 21-9-4 with a .906 SV% and 2.48 GAA with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) and will make his NHL debut Wednesday as he takes on the New York Rangers. The 21-year-old Latvian was drafted in round 6 (156 overall) of the 2019 NHL entry draft. He draws a tough first matchup in the Rangers, who are in the midst of a five-game winning streak after a 6-2 victory over Carolina last game.

The Canucks recalled Arturs Silovs from Abbotsford (AHL).

Silovs has gone 21-9-4 with a 2.48 GAA and .906 SV% in 35 games with Abbotsford (AHL) this season. It's believed that he will serve as Collin Delia's backup on Wednesday, with Spencer Martin heading to the AHL after clearing waivers. Silovs will likely go back to the AHL by the end of the week, making room for Thatcher Demko to return to the Canucks' crease.

The Predators have recalled Philip Tomasino from Milwaukee (AHL).

Tomasino has 12 goals, 20 assists, 24 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 38 games with Milwaukee (AHL) and has been recalled by Nashville Monday for the first time this season. The 21-year-old has previously played in 76 games last season, with 11 goals and 32 points.

Stuart Skinner will start Thursday vs. Philadelphia.

Skinner allowed three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) for his first loss in three starts as he was surprisingly defeated by Columbus in his previous start. The 24-year-old Edmonton native was a first time NHL all-star over the weekend, due to his 13-10-3 record, 2.92 GAA and .914 SV%. He takes on the Philadelphia Flyers, who have lost four of their last five games after a 2-1 loss to the New York Islanders last game.

The Predators have signed Tommy Novak to a one-year extension worth $800K.

Novak has four goals, 11 points, 39 SOG and four PIMs across 20 games played this season and has signed a one-year extension worth $800,000. The 25-year-old has been enjoying a solid second NHL season and will be happy to sign after only 47 career games.

The Predators have recalled Tommy Novak from Milwaukee (AHL).

Novak was returned to Milwaukee (AHL) during the NHL All-Star break so that he could continue to see game action and continued to produce, adding to his 11 goals, 15 points and a +9 plus/minus in 25 games with the Admirals (AHL). He heads back to Nashville, where he was having a great start to his sophmore campaign, with four goals, 11 points and a +2 plus/minus through his first 19 games this season.

Emil Bemstrom will draw back into the Blue Jackets' lineup vs. Vancouver.

Bemstrom was a healthy scratch for the Blue Jackets' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Friday as a replacement for the injured Gustav Nyquist (upper body). The 23-year-old has four goals, seven assists, 35 SOG, and a -4 plus/minus through 21 games played this year.

Skinner will start Wednesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Skinner stopped 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%) for his first win in four starts as he beat Vancouver his last time out. The 24-year-old Edmonton native has been solid all season for the Oilers, with his 13-10-2 record, .915 SV% and 2.92 GAA. He takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have lost four of their last five games after a 4-3 overtime loss to Calgary last game.

Kris Letang has been activated off the injured reserve (lower body).

Letang has not played since December 28th but was a full participant in Tuesday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision vs. the Panthers. Letang skated on the top-pair with Brian Dumoulin and on the second power-play unit in the morning skate and was activated off the injured reserve Tuesday afternoon.

Mathew Dumba is expected to draw back into the Wilds' lineup Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.

Dumba has been a healthy scratch for the Wilds' previous two games but is expected to draw back into the lineup Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay as he pairs up with Jonas Brodin. The 28-year-old has four goals, eight assists, 56 SOG, 54 PIMs, and a +3 plus/minus through 43 games prior to being scratched.
