Skinner is expected to start Game 1 on Wednesday vs. Vancouver.

Skinner was solid in the Oilers' five-game opening-round win over Los Angeles, with his 4-1-0 record, 2.59 GAA and .910 SV% and is expected to take the crease for Game 1 on Wednesday vs. Vancouver. The 25-year-old is coming off a regular season where he produced career highs in games played (59), starts (57), wins (36), GAA (2.62) and shutouts (2) and will be looking to take that momentum far into the playoffs. He will host the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday, who are coming off a hard-fought seven-game series vs. Nashville.

Silovs will start Game 1 on Wednesday in Edmonton.

Silovs was perfect, stopping 28 of 28 shots to close out the Nashville Predators in Game 6 of Vancouver's opening series and is expected to start Game 1 on Wednesday in Edmonton. The 23-year-old entered the playoffs as Vancouver's third goaltender but has locked in the crease under an immense amount of pressure, with his 2-1-0 record, 1.70 GAA and .938 SV% through three playoff appearances so far. He will head to Edmonton to take on the Oilers on Wednesday, who finished off the Los Angeles Kings in five games in their opening-round series.

Skinner will start Game 5 on Wednesday.

Edmonton only ran an optional morning skate ahead of Game 5 on Wednesday but Skinner is expected to start as the Oilers look to close out the series. Silovs will start Game 5 against the Predators on Tuesday.

With Casey DeSmith and Thatcher Demko both unavailable due to injury, Silvos was thrusted into action in Game 4 on Sunday and performed admirably. He stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced and, thanks to a dramatic hat-trick from Brock Boeser, was able to see Vancouver through to a 4-3 victory in overtime. Silovs and the Canucks enter tonight's action as -120 favourites with a chance to eliminate the Predators.

Dewar is expected to be a healthy scratch for Game 4.

Dewar has picked up one assist in three games to open the series but will come out of the lineup with William Nylander expected to make his series debut. Nicholas Robertson will move down to the fourth line to replace Dewar next to David Kampf and Ryan Reaves.

Skinner will start Game 3 in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Oilers will unsurprisingly turn back to Skinner between the pipes for Game 3 on Friday despite taking the loss in Game 2. Skinner's stat line in Game 2 left a lot to be desired, as he allowed five goals on just 26 shots enroute to a 5-4 overtime defeat. The Oilers' starting netminder now owns a below-average .857 SV% through his first two games of the 2024 post-season. The sportsbooks do like his chances of rebounding on Friday, however, as the Oilers' enter action as -140 favourites over the Kings.

Girard (concussion) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play in Game 3 on Friday.

Girard was originally a full participant in the morning skate on Friday but left early as the team finished out their practice and was considered a game-time decision for Game 3 vs. Winnipeg. The 25-year-old has been out since April 13th due to a concussion but appears ready to return. Caleb Jones will sit in his place.

Skinner will start Game 2 vs. the Kings.

After an impressive 7-4 victory in game one against the Los Angeles Kings, the Oilers will return to Skinner between the pipes in game two. Skinner was serviceable in game one, saving 33 of 37 shots (.892 SV%) and did not allow a goal until midway through the second period when the game was already out of reach. The Oilers enter action on Wednesday as -183 home favourites.
