Silovs was the first goalie off the ice at the Canucks morning skate.

The Canucks have lost two of their last four, both with Casey DeSmith between the pipes, and will turn to Silovs on Monday against the Vegas Golden Knights. Silovs has allowed two or fewer goals in his two starts this season, including saving 20 of 21 (.952 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 2-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes. The Canucks enter action as -118 home favourites.

The Flames have recalled Ilya Solovyov from Calgary (AHL).

Solovyov was the seventh-round pick of the Flames in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut earlier this season, playing six games. The 23-year-old defenseman has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL), scoring 14 points (5G / 9A) in 50 games.

Silovs will start on Wednesday in Arizona.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Canucks will turn to Silovs between the pipes on Wednesday after losing with Casey DeSmith 6-3 last night to the Vegas Golden Knights. Silovs played well in his first action of the season on Sunday, saving 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%) in a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. The Canucks enter action as -136 road favourites against the Arizona Coyotes.

Brazeau (upper body) left Tuesday's game due to injury but is without an update on his status.

Brazeau played only 3:45 of time-on-ice before exiting Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Nashville Predators with an upper-body injury. Brazeau has been a lineup regular for the Bruins for the last several weeks and had five points (4G / 1A) in six games before his injury.

Blomqvist has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) on Tuesday.

With Tristan Jarry set to miss his second consecutive contest due to illness, Joel Blomqvist has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) and will backup Alex Nedeljkovic on Tuesday. The 22-year-old netminder is Pittsburgh's 2020 second round pick (52nd overall) and has yet to make his NHL debut. He posted a 22-10-6 with a 2.15 GAA and .919 SV% with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) this season.

Gustafsson will be a healthy scratch on Saturday vs. Ottawa.

With the return of Gabriel Vilardi (upper body), Gustafsson finds himself the odd man out of the Jets' lineup on Saturday vs. New York. The 23-year-old centre has struggled offensively in a limited role this season, with two goals, four points and 22 SOG in 36 games played while averaging only 8:56 TOI per game.

Graves was diagnosed with a concussion after leaving Thursday's game early and is without a timetable to return.

Graves was forced to leave Pittsburgh's game on Thursday after just seven shifts and 5.27 TOI due to a concussion and is now considered out indefinitely as the Penguins are without a timetable for his return. The 28-year-old stay-at-home defensemen has enjoyed another solid but quiet season in Pittsburgh, with his three goals, 14 points, 30 PIMs and +10 plus/minus through 70 games before his injury.

Graves (personal) did not travel with Pittsburgh on their road trip due to the birth of his child.

The Penguins will be without Graves on Friday as he is attending to the birth of his child. Graves has 14 points (3G / 11A) and 139 blocks in 68 games this season. Jack St. Ivany is expected to make his NHL debut in Graves' absence.
