Wotherspoon will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, replaced by veteran Kevin Shattenkirk. Wotherspoon played the last two games and has two points (0G / 2A) in his last four outings.

Alexeyev will draw right back into the Capitals lineup after sitting out Wednesday's game in Edmonton. Ethan Bear will sit in his place.

Skinner has only started one of the last three games but will return to the crease on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals. His recent inactivity hasn't resulted from poor play as he has been impressive lately, allowing two or fewer goals in five straight (4-0-1), posting a .947 SV%.

With Thatcher Demko sidelined for the next few weeks, Vancouver recalled Silovs from Abbotsford (AHL). Silovs played five games in Vancouver last season but has spent the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign with Abbotsford, posting a 2.74 GAA and .907 SV% in 33 games (15-11-6). The 22-year-old Silovs is unlikely to see much, if any, action with Vancouver and will likely serve exclusively as Casey DeSmith's backup.
