Ullmark will make his first start of the season on Tuesday.

Burakovsky (hand) will be out until mid-to-late March.

Burakovsky suffered a hand injury while blocking a Brendan Smith shot last night and will miss at least one month as a result. Chandler Stephenson will replace Burakovsky on Saturday, but Jakub Vrana will likely be the long-term option because he is a nearly identical player to Burakovsky.

The Sabres have recalled Linus Ullmark from Rochester (AHL).

Ullmark, 23, has gone 15-13-1 with a 3.02 GAA and .908 SV% in 29 games with Rochester this season and his recall suggests that there is something wrong with Anders Nilsson as Ullmark and Robin Lehner are the only goalies on the ice this morning.

The Senators have sent Thomas Chabot to Saint John (QMJHL).

Chabot, 19, was the No.18 overall pick in 2015, but only appeared in one game during the Senators’ first nine games. Chabot had a tough time cracking the lineup, so he heads back to Saint John, where he had 11 goals and 34 assists (45 points) in 47 games a season ago.

The Sabres have sent Linus Ullmark to Rochester (AHL).

Ullmark was with the Sabres because Robin Lehner was out with an illness. Lehner will return as Anders Nilsson’s backup this afternoon, so Ullmark goes back to Rochester, where he is 3-1-0 with a 2.75 GAA and .926 SV% this season.

Chabot will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Chabot was a healthy scratch in the first three games of the season but he is expected to serve as a seventh defenseman on Tuesday. Chabot was the 18th overall pick in 2015 and is coming off of 45 points (11G / 34A) in 47 games with the Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL) last year.

Giroux (upper-body) missed Monday's practice; doubtful for Tuesday.

Giroux missed Saturday’s game in Toronto and his absence from this morning’s practice suggests that Giroux will miss a second straight game on Tuesday. Thankfully for the Flyers, it looks like Sean Couturier will return to the lineup, which should ease the loss of Giroux.
