Reimer was yanked after surrendering six goals on 17 shots in the first period of Sunday's loss in Pittsburgh. Reimer has been all over the place recently but overall, he is 5-2-0 with a .907 SV% in his last seven games. Tonight he'll face a Red Wings team that has lost six of their last eight games while averaging just 2.4 goals for and 4.3 goals against per game.
The Senators have added Thomas Chabot to the COVID-19 protocol list.
The Senators COVID-19 protocol list now sits at eight players, with Chabot, Chris Tierney and Zach Sanford entering protocol on Monday.

The Senators have signed Tyler Boucher to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Boucher was the No.10 overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft and has scored two goals with one assist in 17 games with Boston University. According to Jeff Marek of Sportsnet, Boucher will be heading to the Ottawa 67's (OHL).
The Sabres placed Dylan Cozens in COVID-19 protocol on Sunday.
Cozens and Mark Jankowski were placed on the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday, joining Zemgus Girgensons, Jeff Skinner and Vinnie Hinostroza, who were on the list prior to the Christmas break. Cozens and Jankowski will likely be out until the middle of next week--the other three are eligible to come off earlier.
