David Perron will return Friday vs. Philadelphia after serving his six-game suspension.

Perron forfeited $148,437.48 in salary for his six-game suspension and will return to the lineup on Friday, playing his first game since December 9th. At Friday's morning skate, he practiced on the third line with Michael Rasmussen and Andrew Copp. Perron has seven goals and six assists in 26 games with the Red Wings this season.

James Reimer is in the starter's crease at Friday's morning skate.

Reimer will likely start on Friday, the front end of a back-to-back, his third straight start since Ville Husso and Alex Lyon have been unable to suit up due to injuries. Reimer has a .888 SV% while being winless in his last eight appearances (0-5-2) and has not had a quality start since November 2nd. The Red Wings have faced struggles regardless of who is between the pipes, as they have lost four straight (0-4-0) and seven of their last eight (1-6-1). That said, they are -123 home favourites against a Flyers team that defeated them 1-0 less than a week ago and is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Nashville Predators last night.

Ullmark will start Tuesday's game against the Wild.

Ullmark will be back between the pipes on Tuesday after Jeremy Swayman got the nod in Saturday's 2-1 overtime defeat to the Rangers. Ullmark has endured a relatively cold stretch of late, registering a 3-3-0 record and an .893 SV% across his last six starts. He did collect a win his last time out over the Islanders despite surrendering four goals on 37 shots. He draws an enticing matchup on Tuesday with the Bruins being -225 home favourites over the Wild.

Linus Ullmark
Linus Ullmark will start Friday at the New York Islanders.

Ullmark will start for the third time in the last four games for the Bruins when they face off against the New York Islanders on Friday. Ullmark has played well despite allowing three goals in each of his last three contests (2-1-0), boasting a .917 SV%. Ullmark has a career 2.51 GAA and has fared favourably against the Islanders in his career, including a 5-2 victory on November 9th when he saved 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%).

Linus Ullmark
Arthur Kaliyev (illness) will be a game-time decision Wednesday vs. Winnipeg.

Kaliyev missed the Kings' practice Tuesday and will be a game-time decision Wednesday vs. Winnipeg as he deals with an illness. The 22-year-old right-winger has enjoyed a solid start to his 2023-24 season, with six goals, 12 points, 10 PIMs, 47 SOG and a +7 plus/minus in 23 games played.

Arthur Kaliyev
James Reimer will start Monday at Dallas.

Reimer made his first appearance on Saturday since November 16th, entering the game in relief, saving all 11 shots he faced in a 5-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators. Reimer regularly saw action in the Red Wings crease before Alex Lyon emerged and demanded starting time with his strong play. In seven games this season, Reimer has played mostly well, posting a 2.18 GAA and .922 SV% in the process. The Red Wings, however, are without Dylan Larkin and J.T. Compher and, as such, are sizeable +189 road underdogs against a Dallas Stars team that has lost three of four games.

James Reimer
Thomas Chabot (lower body) has been placed on the Long-Term Injured Reserve and will be out a minimum four weeks.

Chabot was not able to complete Saturday's game, his second game after a 10-game absence due to a hand injury, exiting late in the third period after playing 22:29 with a lower-body injury and has been placed on the Long-Term Injured Reserve Thursday. In the two games, Chabot scored one point (0G / 1A) and eight shots on goal while quarterbacking the Senators' top powerplay unit. He is expected to be out a minimum of four weeks.

Thomas Chabot
Dennis Gilbert will draw back into the Flames lineup Thursday vs. Carolina.

Jordan Oesterle will be a healthy scratch on Thursday, allowing Gilbert to re-enter the lineup for the Flames on Thursday. The left-handed defenseman has played 15 games with the Flames this season, scoring two points (0G / 2A), averaging 12:48 time-on-ice.

Dennis Gilbert
Linus Ullmark is expected to start Thursday vs. Buffalo.

Ullmark played very well in his last contest, saving 37 of 40 shots (.925 SV%) in a 4-3 overtime victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. Before that, Ullmark allowed nine goals on 60 shots (.850 SV%) in consecutive losing appearances but will look to string together strong performances as the Bruins are sizeable -275 home favourites against the Buffalo Sabres. In Ullmark's last contest against his former team, he saved 32 of 34 shots (.941 SV%) in a 5-2 victory on November 14th.
