The Senators will turn to Ullmark between the pipes for the 42nd time this season when they host the Habs on Friday. Ullmark was fantastic in his last start, stopping all 29 shots he faced in a 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets on Sunday. The 31-year-old netminder has excelled in his first season as a Senator, posting a 23-14-3 record along with a .911 SV%. Ullmark and the Sens enter action on Friday at -150 on the money line.

The Sabres are among the hottest teams in the NHL, with an 8-2-0 record in their last 10 games, and will turn to Reimer, one of the NHL's hottest netminders. Reimer was tremendous in his most recent outing, saving all 33 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. Lycksell played a career-high 19 games with the Flyers this season, scoring five points (0G / 5A). The 25-year-old forward has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, where he has 41 points (17G / 24A) in 40 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL).

Logan Thompson exited Thursday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes due to an upper-body injury and did not return. The Capitals have recalled Hunter Shepard from the Hershey Bears (AHL) in the interim to serve as the back up to Charlie Lindgren if Thompson's injury keeps him out of the lineup. The 29-year-odl Shepard has a 2.81 GAA and .891 SV% in 37 games (22-11-3) with Hershey this season.

Still, they will be desperate for a win after losing two straight (0-1-1), turning to Ullmark between the pipes on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Ullmark struggled in his most recent outing, allowing four goals on 21 shots (.810 SV%) in a 5-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. The 31-year-old netminder has a 2.80 GAA and .907 SV% in 40 games this season (21-14-3). The Senators enter Thursday's contest as +127 home underdogs against a Lightning squad outscoring their opposition by a whopping 25-5 score during a four-game winning streak.
