Sounds like Reimer is close to returning.

Sounds like Reimer is close to returning.

Reimer skated today but still is not quite ready to return to the Maple Leafs net. He could be back next week.

Reimer has skated lightly yesterday but still hasn't returned to regular practice. Reimer doesn't appear to be too far away at this point, keep an eye on him going forward.

Reimer hasn't played since February 11th but did participate in a light optional skate today. Reimer is still expected to miss some more time but the fact that he was back on the ice today is a positive sign.

No surprise here as the Leafs called up Jussi Rynnas today. Reimer is expected to miss at least one week, more details to come in the next couple of days.

This is good news for the Maple Leafs as it looked like Reimer's injury was much more serious. A minimum of one week leaves the door open for him to miss an extended period of time but for now just consider him out and monitor his status going forward.

Reimer had started to get going winning two consecutive and 4 of his last 6 contests. Ben Scrivens gets a fantasy boost if Reimer can't play.

Reimer will get his third straight start tonight against Philadelphia. He is on a 2 game winning streak including a 37-save shutout against Montreal on Saturday. Reimer has stopped 60 of the last 62 shots he faced and he will try to extend his winning streak to 3 tonight. The bad news is the Leafs are at home where they are 1-4-0 this season vs. 6-1-0 on the road.

Reimer is 1-2-0 in his last 3 starts but has played well as of late. He has posted a 2.35 GAA and .929 SV% in those 3 starts. Reimer will go head-to-head with Carey Price tonight who has been on of the NHL's best goalies so far. Toronto beat the Habs in the season opener, so Reimer will look to make it 2-0 vs. their rivals tonight.

Reimer who is a Manitoba native will get the start tonight in Winnipeg. Reimer and Scrivens have played very similar this season, both have .500 records with 2.71 GAA (Reimer) and 2.70 GAA (Scrivens) so the #1 goalie spot really seems up for grabs still. Reimer has seen the majorities of the starts however, and has a good matchup vs. the Jets tonight.

Eller only has 1 G and 2 A and it all came in one game. He is highly skilled but needs to stay in the lineup and score with more regularity if he is going to be fantasy relevant.

MacArthur has been unavailable for the Maple Leafs last 3 games since hurting his pinky finger January 26 against the Rangers. MacArthur isn't a great fantasy option except for in deep leagues. Monitor his status prior to game-time.

Tonight will be Reimer's 5th straight start (2-2 in the last 4.). Reimer is the apparent #1 in Toronto now and has been playing very well and has actually turned into a decent fantasy option. As long as he continues to get the starts he could be useful in fantasy as long as you play the match-ups.

MacArthur is going to miss his third straight game today since suffering a finger injury against the Rangers. Sounds like he could return on Monday though.

Reimer is coming off of 2 straight wins and has given the Maple Leafs a chance to win in his starts this season. Reimer has taken the starting job over which has increased his fantasy value but tonight's matchup isn't ideal.

MacArthur is out for tonight so get him out of your lineup. He shouldn't be far from a return.

This will be Reimer's third straight start which would indicate that he is the #1 again in Toronto. The Caps have struggled early on this season so it could be a good matchup for Reimer, but you never know when Alex Ovechkin is on the ice.

As expected MacArthur looks like he is going to miss tonight's game with a finger injury.

Ben Scrivens struggled mightily against the Islanders and it now looks to be Reimer's job to lose. This will be Reimer's first back-to-back start this season as he hopes for some better play in front of him. He got peppered for 41 shots on Saturday in a losing effort, but played well. Leafs goalies aren't a fantasy option.

MacArthur lost his finger nail against the Rangers and may not be able to go tomorrow. JVR will resume MacArthur's spot on the Maple Leafs first line.
