The Rangers enter Wednesday's contest as +115 road underdogs against the New York Islanders, who defeated them 2-0 last month.
Fox (undisclosed) returned to New York's practice in a non-contact sweater on Wednesday.
Adam Fox is in his second stint on Long-Term Injured Reserve this season, but appears to be nearing a return after practicing in a non-contact jersey on Wednesday. The Kings have struggled immensely since Igor Shesterkin (lower body) was injured, going 1-7-1, failing to receive adequate goaltending from Quick. The 40-year-old veteran Quick was having a solid start to the season in a backup role, posting a 2.14 GAA and .924 SV% in 10 games (3-6-1), but has a miserable 4.32 GAA and .800 SV% in six games since (0-5-1). The Rangers enter Monday's contest as +104 home underdogs against a Boston Bruins team that pummeled them 10-2 earlier this month.
