With TJ Oshie likely returning tonight for game 1 after missing the last 15 games, Tarasenko appears to be a healthy scratch. Tarasenko had just three assists in his last 15 games.
Bogosian did not join the Jets on the trip to Buffalo. He is listed as day to day.
Bogosian took a hit to the head from the Islanders Kyle Okposo on Saturday.
Marcus Johansson tweaked something lower body, came off the ice as a precaution team spokesman said.
Update via Stephen Whyno - #Caps coach Adam Oates said Marcus Johansson is OK, didn't sound concerned about LW leaving practice while a little "sore."

Newly signed Zuccarello was skating on a line with Brad Richards and Chris Kreider at practice Saturday.

Can confirm that Mats Zuccarello has agreed to terms on contract with Rangers, though he is awaiting his release from the KHL
MZA has spent some time on the Rangers' top line in the past so he could be the spark the Rangers need up front to get moving again. He does not need to go through waivers because he is already under RFA-status with New York as per Bob McKenzie.
Tarasenko will indeed play tonight for the Blues.

Tarasenko was skating on a line with Jaden Schwartz and Vladamir Sobotka today at practice. It appears as if he will return to the lineup tonight after missing the Blues last 10 games with a concussion. Check back for confirmation.
Hitch said McDonald & Tarasenko will be evaluated in the morning to see where they are, leaving the door open for possible return Saturday.
Tarasenko has been out for the last 10 games with a concussion. Concussion's are touchy so it his hard to put a timetable on his return. There is a chance that he could play tomorrow but consider him questionable at best.

Vlad Tarasenko brought a bucket of pucks to the ice surface just to get feel for puck. No skating, just throwing some pucks at the goal.
This is the first time Tarasenko has skated since he suffered a concussion on February 20. Concussions are tricky so there is no timetable for his return but it is positive news that he was at the rink.

Tarasenko was hit hard on Wednesday and suffered a concussion. He has been placed on IR and like all concussions they are very unpredictable. It appears Tarasenko is going to miss at least a week but monitor his status in the next couple of days.

Spurgeon has been moved back to the top D-pair with Ryan Suter for the first time since returning from injury. The increased minutes should give him ample chances to produce.

Bogosian will make his season debut tonight vs. Pittsburgh. He will play on the Jets 2nd D-pairing with Ron Hainsey. Bogosian had 30 points in 65 last year so he could be a good waiver wire pickup for the rest of this season.

This is great news for the Jets, Bogosian had 5 G, 25 A, -3 and 117 hits in 65 games last season. The young blueliner will be a welcomed return to a Jets blueline that already has Tobias Enstrom (2G, 11A, -3, 6PPP) and Dustin Byfuglien (3G, 4A, +1, 4PPP). Bogosian will likely take a few games to get back into game shape but he would be a good pickup because of his offensive upside.

Matt Kassian was sent down to the AHL in order for Spurgeon to come off of IR. Spurgeon will be paired with Justin Falk and Nate Prosser will be scratched. Spurgeon has 1 assist in 3 games this season.

Spurgeon has not played since January 22, it is likely that he will re-join Ryan Suter on the WIld's top-D pairing. Spurgeon won't be back tonight but should be back soon.
Marcus Johansson is day-to-day with an upper body injury.
He was a healthy scratch in the Capitals last game vs. the Panthers so it is unknown how the injury happened but his day-to-day tag would indicate that the injury isn't serious. MJ90 has had a hard time staying in the Capitals lineup this year which has destroyed whatever fantasy value he had.
